When you, thebish, crossed that line with me and became personally abusive I decided that I would not respond to any more of your posts. This doesn’t mean that I ignore them – indeed I admire your skill as a photographer and think many of your opinions sound. However, I will not enter any more discussions with you because they seem to generate hostility. Although I have not responded to anything you wrote since last October, you seem slow to take this point so I mention it here to clarify. As far as Rusedski is concerned I responded only to W4E. I have no desire to have another endless argument about whether taking out British citizenship two years before you get to a grand slam final means you are still a Canadian or not. I don't really care.
Wow. Perhaps a PM explaining that would have been better Monty?

Is it important? And might I just add, Greg Rusedski is a friend of a friend that I've met several times and, save for him being an Arsenal fan, is an absolutely delightful fellow. Lucy, his Mrs, is equally enchanting and both are perfect dinner party guests. There.

Murray was due a stinker. He generally comes back stronger from disappointing results.
Still don't think Dimitrov is all that. Raonic on the other hand, but I still worry about players that base their game around a big serve.
Federer's never winning another slam.

You think?
I thought he was outstanding on Sunday, and came very close to doing it. If he can conserve his energy in the early rounds by coming forward more then I see no reason why he shouldn't be in contention for three of the four slams. It's still v tough, of course, but there are still v few players who could play the way he did in the fourth set against Djokovic.

Aussie Nick Kyrgios is currently winning 3-1 against Andreas Seppi in the 5th set.
Winner to play either Dimitrov or Murray, which Murray is up 1 set to 0

See the Scottish fella has made the final of the Australian. Blue and white flags all over the place over there.

Switched on with Murray a set and a break down. Been pretty good since. Djokovic looks fecked. Murray's to lose I think.

Murray's let a few easy ones slip despite playing some real tennis. Djokovic is one great tennis player and it must be gruelling out there. Scot/Brit whatever, Murray is probably the best we've ever had on this island. One set all, 3-2 Djokovic on games and Murray's serve. Couldn't be closer. Absolutely top tennis.

Re: Tennis, anyone.....?
Djokovic, now 2-1 sets up looking way the coolest, Murray looking absolutely drained. More Murray's simple errors than bad tennis. If he can turn this he's a genius. I'll give him a shout though for sheer fight.

Djokovic is unreal. Down and out and found yet another gear.

Re: Tennis, anyone.....?
Aye, he's almost robotic. Murray a bit more Moss Bank than Wimbledon right now. Getting savaged 5 games to 0 and it's looking all over. Sad, because he looked in with a real shout and then......well, it's all over and Djokovic a worthy winner.Prufrock wrote:Djokovic is unreal. Down and out and found yet another gear.

Re: Tennis, anyone.....?
Hell of a game of tennis going on between Murray and Djokovic. On now on Freeview 24.
Ah, well. Rain stopped play just when Murray looked to be coming back. He blued a few chances mind and a fresh Djorkovic will probaly be a bit too much. Never know though....

Re: Tennis, anyone.....?
Murray is probably the best (Scottish) Brit we've had since Fred Perry. Unfortunately, he plays in the same era as Federer, Nadal and Djokoviv. Came back well from two sets down, but Djokovic steam-rollered him in the last.
