In their present condition (as opposed to time-machined heyday), but ignoring financial constraints, it's not an extensive list. Of players we once owned, unless I've overlooked some, I'd have Al-Habsi, Cahill, Eagles, Joey O'Brien (still only 28!) and Blerim Dzemaili.

If we're including former loanees, I wouldn't say no to Dawson, Juke, Sturridge and Wilshere...
Dzemaili. The one we didn't have enough patience for. Big shame!
Or Saturday's hat trick hero, Jon Walters.

I thought walters was shifted off for something altogether more unsavoury rather than his talent? Could just be rumours tho.

That'll be Eidur up top on his own Weds then. Suits me better than having Wilkinson up there. Good luck to him of course. He's certainlu not up to our first team standard. Hope he comes back looking a bit more like it.

Didn't his career start in a blaze of glory at Villa? How come he got shipped to Palace? I just seem to remember there being a lot of talk about what a find he was.

He is / was a decent player - was hoping this is an actual signing and not a loan, as part of the CYL deal (although we probably couldn't afford it) but its a loan - however a very good addition IMO
