my sister said she thought it felt colder over here cos it is a damp-cold not a dry-cold... seeps deep into your bones!
Speaking of dry cold, I was once in Amsterdam at the beginning of January. It was absolutely bitter, cut right through you. Don't think I've ever been as cold.

I spent Saturday night last week in an ice hotel. Minus 11 according to the thermometer, but was actually quite cosy until 5am when I needed the loo. Then it got cold.

It was pretty nippy here yesterday, as some pedestrian expressed.

Wondered what New Yorkers were on about given how mild the cold has been the last few weeks.

The wind picked up on Friday night.

Turns out I won't be offering any opinions of that nature again.

The high here today is -16 - up to -17 right now and supposed to be cold all week. Only -1 in NYC today. Count your blessings!

That's worse then the snowmageddon in NY. They should cancel all flights and public transport and all have the day tucked up in bed.

Thanks for the link, Hoboh. There's some right cracking photos in there.

TANGO, that's "our Nat", but is it Burnden and the opposition Wolves?

Right on both counts Dujon. Burnden in the snow and the Wolves player is Martin (according to a tab somewhere).

I think it is Eddie Stuart, Dujon, but then again I think it is Molineux.

Bit of a snow flurry this morning. Not fully sticking yet, but coming down quite heavily right now.

 mixed it up a bit too excited
Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy, sunshine in my eyes can make me cry.
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely, sunshine almost always makes me high.

I can't locate the link Monty, (I'll keep looking) and my search was for Bolton in the snow, but it said Martin and Burnden. But for Nat, I wouldn't have known anyway.
Edit, no idea where my link is, but I think you're right. Apologies.

No doubt who this is though. What a cracking pic for a screensaver.
