Quite, it was just tongue-in-cheek, hence the brackets.thebish wrote:presumably because the new stadium sponsors are unhelpfully not called "New Burnden Park"TANGODANCER wrote:My stomach's in knots already. Hoping the Macron ( why can't we call it New Burnden Park?)![]()

Massive! £750,000 for three games of televised football + gate receipts. Not to be sniffed at!thebish wrote:and we are now in a position where that makes a difference!Dr Hotdog wrote:Apparently it's a set fee of £247,500 per broadcast for an FA Cup tie - including the replay. So we've made close to £500K with an incentive of another big pay day if we win tonight!
Come on you whites!!!!!!!!

Re: Ding dong do.....Round 2
Wow, so the BBC is paying around £500,000 (for the two teams) per game, plus whatever else they have to pay for. I'm a fan of the BBC and I'm glad it's on TV but that seems a bit excessive for the licence fee.Dr Hotdog wrote:Apparently it's a set fee of £247,500 per broadcast for an FA Cup tie - including the replay.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

By whom, may I ask?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Looks like Ream in midfield to me?

Didn't do that bad against Rotherham up there. He's a target I suppose.SmokinFrazier wrote:According to the BBC site, Lennon said Mills is up front.
Be mildly amusing if we go through with a winner from a central defender playing up front.

Craig Davies didn't make it then? That's a bit of a kick in the round things.

Re: Ding dong do.....Round 2
Y'know what, I'm not entirely convinced Matt Mills is a natural striker.
