I'm not there - what were the other 2 injuries? Muscular? Cant work out if genuinely unlucky or medical staff want sacking this summer.
Re: After the last match, Reading the riot act - match threa
From pitch side, it looked like Clough was taken out completely off the ball in front of a ref who has completely lost control of the game and is floundering badly.

One would imagine that there has been no deliberate attempt to injure any of our players, but just in case one would hope that all eyes would be on the play that led up to those injuries. Seems a lot in a short space of time. Now for some consolidation, a bit of backbone and an improvement in finishing. Fingers crossed.

Fcuk Me what a joke.
3 injuries in the first 45 minutes?
Who ever has buried the fcuking Indians under the Macron pitch could you kindly go and dig em back up and fcuk off.
It was only a matter of time before Clough was going to get injured as the League knows he's a decent talent. Can't beat em kick em.
I don't know what we have done to deserve all this bad luck but it's borderline criminal.

Not seen it but consensus was that Wheater's was just an innocuous block/fall or something.Gravedigger wrote:One would imagine that there has been no deliberate attempt to injure any of our players, but just in case one would hope that all eyes would be on the play that led up to those injuries. It's so frustrating that referees essentially allow small, talented players to be bullied... They are supposed to be responsible for all the player's safety but apparently in this division that's not possible.

Remember the game against Reading when their unfair play galvanised our team to win the playoffs? About time we showed that same spirit. Let's give 'em crap.

Well, right now a point doesn't look at all a bad result. No options in either attack or defence and you can hear the praying in Farnworth. Just hope N.L can work some tactics out other than just defending our box for forty-five mins. COME ON YOU WHITES.....

Wheater was his hamstring, pulled up after a sprint. Couldn't see the Mcnaughton tackle. We've had three clear chances to score, I hope we're not looking at those misses at full time.

Commentator reckons Anthony Axford is available as part two comenceth. Game on...
"Bolton are playing from right to left, Reading are playing the opposite way"?
What a game this is.

Early effort for them before we get forward and win a throw. Some guts and effort needed now. Come on lads....Two progressive throws to them and....Eidur daydreaming. Some pinging and ponging with fouls sounding rampant and now......some more pinging and ponging. Bit of a chat about West Brom and.....now they have a go at us but we break. It falls down, but now Janko goes, then Vela....and they clear.

Well we are. Some of these other sides are playing fast and loose with the rules.
