And Alf has another dab from distance. All sounds okay so far....

Janko gives a free kick away outside the Rovers area. Now them and....Coke loses out and gives a foul away. And....Evans and....some pinging and ponging before an overhead kick goes....overhead. We go and Alf tries a foul shout to no avail. Homers get a free forty? out.
And....we clear,they recover and they come again and we clear for a throw. Homers having a buzz and win a corner. McCarthy getting the good words. Marshall and....cleared and it finishes up with Amos. Coke starts us off and Janko slips as he shoots.

Alf does well and we have a bit of possession but nothing igniting just yet. Now them and......a cross-field pass is cleared by Janko and we sally forth for Alf to win a throw. And....Heskey gets decked but to no avail again and they break at us. Free kick them and Alf does well to rob Kearney. We go and.....it goes back to their keeper. Alf getting some good words, partly in defence and.....we clear a free kick. We go again and......and.....it gets into ping and pong. I'm liking the sound of how Amos bosses his area. And....a throw us and....."flat" is the word being used. We go and.....Heskey getting a bit riled as he doesn't get a free kick he felt he should have had.. And now....Danns, Janko and....keeper. Alf wastes a shot with men available and the excitement rises as Amos does well and wins the ball with good anticipation. And now.....we get a free thirty out for a foul on Emil. And....and....and....back and forth, to and fro, ping and pong. Throw us near their corner and...it becomes a corner and......Feeney again and.....sound like Rovers are complaining about that corner and....and....it's cleared. Bit of shirt pulling between Mills and Henry. And now....
no card, luckily, and......some comment about flashing mobiles? Half time approaching and a goal now would be handy. Heskey, Danns, and cleared. Coke feeds Alf and......a very bad pass apparently from Janko. Sounds like the boss man might be having a word or two in the break.

And now, Feeney and....they clear. Rovers defence getting the good words but we break and....Alf can't keep a bad pass from Danns. Rovers throw but Danns wins it and sets us off. "McCarthy Bolton's best player so far" says the man.....as said man gives a free kick away. And Olsen is down at the moment then comes off...temporarily? No, he's off as two mins announced and Rovers win a corner. And, we clear and........it fizzles out to a poor pass. We sound to be missing that little bit of guile Clough gave us up front. I can see an Eidur-Emil sub before long. We need somebody to run into their box a la Mark Davies style. Balls knocked over ae being dealt with by their defence. Maybe get Janko more central (he says speculatively) ?

Janko doesn't look to have anywhere near the close control required to play centrally. I'd question his discipline in terms of defensive work too. Might make a decent striker...
