What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Did you have it with pan fried halibut on a bed on wood steamed handpicked rice?

Isn't all rice handpicked?
Yes - Which was my point... :-)

No. But if you look at my picture it has an anagram of Kale which is even MORE pretentious.

If you replaced the thyme with gold leaf, then you'd be talking pretentious

Entertaining clients tonight, so raw fish it was. Tonight I discovered that mixing the wasabi in with the soy sauce means you get the flavour of it without the nose bleed. Result. :)

Bloody hell I have not stopped. Mrs booked us night at The Inn at Whitewell on Good friday because it was my birthday. We had lunch there (fish & chips), a fair few drinks. Then a bit of a siesta before going back down for dinner (tea) 3 courses plus cheese (I had black pudding, bangers & mash, pear & cinnamon crumble (didn't fancy owt off the a-la-carte) and a few bottles of wine. Was all very good. The next day we called at a place in Bashall Eaves on the way home called the Red Pump. Never been before but they were keen to tell us it was under new management and was clear that it'd been refurbished. Soup and Steak & onion sandwich. Was out of this world. And a few pints of Hen Harrier. Spot on. Big bowl of chilli last night with baked nachos & spring onions. Beers. Then today was at my Nans for a big old roast dinner.

I'm put on a few heavy stones i reckon!

^ Absolutely love The Inn at Whitewell. An absolute 4ucker to get to but worth it in spades on every conceivable front.

Quite reasonable too tbf!

Just had pan-fried hen's egg fried a la non-stick pan style using butter from Scandanavia. Lightly seasoned and served on freshly hand-picked toasted bread.

Roughly translates as egg fried a la skillet style in a drop of Lurpack and whacked on two slices of Warbies I got from the mini market this morning just as the driver was unloading them. Salt an pepper, sorted.

I know you're joking B.B, because one does not put sauce anywhere near fried eggs, not in our fxcking house anyway.

Oh yes. Had one of these babies when I went to watch Bolton v Guimaraes. After the 'Battle of the Ribiera' with the Rangers fans I found myself walking (well running) past a cafe specialising in Franchesina. Top beer food.

Bizarrely there is a small Portuguese community, near where I'm working at the moment, about 10 minutes walk from Vauxhall station. The cafes in this area sell Superbok and tapas and Franchesina.
