What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Cracking series though.

Watched Jupiter Ascending, what an absolute load of Bollocks!!!!
Saw a trailer, that was enough.
I enjoyed The Secret Life of Walter Mitty a lot more than I thought I would though. Cheerful film.

PS Is that Tango throwing his hat into the ring for Eva as well?

Chequered flat cap if you please, and I'm old enought to be her grandad. Just admiring and touching the forelock in her direction.

I have this on its way to me from LF. I'm interested in your remarks there, Tango as we may be coming at this from opposite ends. I have absolutely no interest in Turner, but am a huge fan of Mike Leigh.

I'll let you know how I get on with it. ;)
We did indeed come at it from opposite ends, Tango. I thought it was a superb examination of 'Turner the man' rather than a 'here, look at my paintings' (of which I thought that there was plenty enough to view). Timothy Spall, I thought, was absolutely superb. For what it's worth, by the way, WtW agrees with you whereas his good lady agrees with me. ;)

am watching "Damages" on netflix... (starring Glen Close) expecting it to be a bit meh! - am very pleasantly surprised - does the job very well as a fairly fast-paced twisty-turny drama... good stuff! 8)

It wasn't museum type exhibitionism of his paintings that disappointed me Bruce, (Google Images is full of them) more the fact that the film only portrayed a much-travelled man and a strong character from his fifties onward and missed out so much of his life. Spall is indeed a fantastic actor.

i know its gonna be one of them things that will annoy me soon on account of how popular its about to become, but in fairness to the big fella its pretty excellent! Great on screen chemistry with Him and Kayleigh who is pretty unknown it seems. only a few genuine LOL's (esp one featuring Kenny Senior!!) but lots of big grinning! couple of hilarious cameos in there and ultimately a bit of a endearing love story. the car radio plays a big part too!

its all filmed around Manchester and Bolton too which is good but can also get a bit distracting trying to place watch! they have a friggin convoluted route to work anyway!
Couldn't agree more, on each count. The Kenny Senior cameo was possibly the funniest of the lot. Full credit to the girl playing Kayleigh also.

Recognised a few places in Bolton, but as you say, it does become a little distracting.

Only watched the first 3 episodes so far, but will be watching the rest asap.
Great shouts here chaps. This series really is a treat and yes, definitely the biggest laugh so far has been the Kenny Senior appearance

^^ All of that. Missed episode one but have just watched two and three. There isn't much that can make me laugh aloud whilst watching it on my own, but these did. Also, just watched the last Inside No. 9 from last week. Once again I find myself wondering if Messrs Pemberton and Shearsmith are actually alright in the head?!

Just watched 'The Babadook' on Netflix (it was on the US version but I imagine it's available on the UK one). Feck me.

The Judge. Poweful performance from Robert Downey Jr and a brilliant one from Robert Duval. Family/court drama. Enjoyable.

Caught up the first three episodes of the Car Share thing. Agree totally with the descriptions on here. In the words of the man "Works for me". P.K is usually so deadpan that when he laughs it's so infectious it pulled me in. Favourite mental image was the pall-bearers one: "They had to shuffle back out again" because the ones in charge of the music played the wrong song.

Looking forward to the rest.

Can you let me know how you manage to watch all six episodes please?

All I can seem to find on iplayer is the first three.
