Watched Paranoia last night. Computer technology based thriller. Liam Hemsworth (who, in truth, I've never heard of), Gary Odman, Harrison Ford, Richard Dreyfuss and some girl called Amber?. Decent, well worth a watch for a couple of hours.

England women's football. I've seen a higher standard on moss bank park most Sundays.

Otherwise known as "someone with a fecking clue".
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Watched TFI Friday last night. Some things should be left in the 90s never to see the light of day again.

Hi ladies and gents,
I wondered whether this may be of interest to some? ESPN are conducting a nationwide study to get the views and experiences of sports fans who watch live matches in their city.
There’s currently a low response rate in Bolton, so by taking this 5 minute survey you can give the city a voice and be in with a chance of winning centre court tickets to Wimbledon this year!
An article on how to access the survey is on: http://www.espn.co.uk/espn/story/_/id/1 ... ing-cities" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Or you can go directly to the survey here: https://populus.livesurveys.net/espn" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Good luck to all those who enter.

^ I've just started S5 having started again from S1ep1 for Mrs C's benefit, but Jack Whitehall just tweeted "Even Quentin Tarantino must watch Game of Thrones and think "Jesus, this is a bit violent"

Just watched it. I liked it, too. Kept me transfixed as I'd no idea which way it was going to go. Plenty of implausibilities in it,mind, but I suppose that you have to let your imagination meet these things halfway.Prufrock wrote:Under The Skin.
Girlf hated it.
Brave, and a very weird, but I liked it!

talking of quirky low budget independent art films, saw the new Jurassic Park last night. it is pretty BIG! doesn't feel as ground breaking as the first one did 20yrs ago, but good fun! enjoyed it.
Chris Pratt is gonna be huge, Ron Howards daughter is fit.

Jurassic Park's another one that I've hitherto managed to avoid watching a solitary second of, and long may it remain.General Mannerheim wrote:talking of quirky low budget independent art films, saw the new Jurassic Park last night. it is pretty BIG! doesn't feel as ground breaking as the first one did 20yrs ago, but good fun! enjoyed it.

Survivor. New film with Pierce Brosanan.
Of all the great American "five seconds to save the world" bullshxt movies, this one surely takes the cake. Single wonder-woman secret agent does it all alone against all the odds. Contains that great line reserved for special occasions like this: "Something here doesn't add up!" and the only thing missing is is somebody saluting at the end as the say with a quaver in their voice.."God bless you all and God bless the United States of America". Be sure to miss this one....

On a similar note I was made to watch the truly awful Interstellar. After watching Signs I thought I'd seen the worst possible film centred around a family who live in a corn plantation, have a brush with space and are eventually saved by "love". F*cking criminal. Only the fact that the McConnaissance could act The Very Hungry Caterpillar and make it good stopped me killing myself.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Looking for a box set for an upcoming holiday. Homeland anyone? Any good? Loved Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire but gave up on GoT and The Wire. Recommended?
