The islands are apparently teeming with refugees. I'd be doing some research and choosing carefully, personally.

Ah ok, thanks, was thinking to stick to the mainland, and drive the coast anti-clockwise.

We're planning north Cephalonia and it seems none have gone to the north of there.

I know it seems like a First World take on a Third World catastrophe but there you go.

Greece has enough problems without this and the tourist industry has taken a hit already but this could set it back years.

No summer jollies for me and I'm hoping you have a great time wherever you get to. Having said that, we're playing in Graz in the 11th July. "Hello Lufthansa".....

Well, I'm going to Greece ... and I wave my private parts at the migrant crisis and the Grexit. With luck I'll be there to watch the final throes of their ill advised jaunt into the Euro.

I shall take plenty of £'s.

Good read that, lucky enough to have tackled a couple of those... this the PPDS were doing, http://www.morznet.com/events/calendar/ ... -du-soleil" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. the riding looks pretty tame but there are some red/black graded options along the way. be nice doing a bit of XC anyway after 3 days of steep tech!

Aaah. My bad Apologies.

You probably need a break after them being under your feet all the time. I remember those days. They do pass, honestly.

Well, tomorrow at 7am I fly out to Cephalonia. Very much looking forward to it.

It also means I can avoid the terrible crashing impact of the collapse of ..... Plymouth's transfer thread.

Watching, at first hand, the Euro fiasco of either Grexit or a cobbled together fudged compromise will be nothing in comparison.

Going to Fiskardo at the very North. I've day-tripped their from when we were in Lefkas a few years ago. This will be our 9th go at Greece. I adore the place. Crazy, mixed-up beggars that they are.

Staying in an apartment, one of 6, with a pool and less than 100yds from the harbour and restaurants. We fly out at 7am, so up at stupid=o'clock, but should be having my first beer and taramasolata by 12.30pm.

I am taking plenty of cash, both Euro's & £Sterling so the banks can do their worst.

Haa. AT 6am. I've never quite got that. ... & to be honest spending the whole flight needing to piss isn't my idea of fun.

Are you going Ryanair, without paying for the bog on the 'plane? Despite the amount of flying I do every year, I'm a nervous flier. I find that a couple before departure helps. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
