Are the youth of today really that much worse than we were? The difference for me is that we didn't have the internet to advertise our shenanigans. The only thing I'd accuse the youth of today of is being too thick to realise sharing everything online is a bad idea. That said, going off my Facebook feed, plenty from my generation are a bit thick too!

No. I don't think they are but, as you say, there's a whole new way of telling the World about it.

Also of complaining about their treatment once meted out and an overbearing sense of "I've got rights". Less opportunity for the 'clip round the ear' and an amazing degree of support for their sense of grievance when challenged. Instead of parents saying "serves you rufht" much more likely to have them on the case supporting them.

Which may explain why they are amazed when pulled up.

Partnerships is/was the fancy phrase for involving other bodies public in reducing crime and disorder as per the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

The Lancashire road safety partnership does involve the police along with several councils. In effect, the operation of the cameras, as I undrstand it is run by a third party sub contractor, as are the driver awareness courses.

Location of the csmeras is nothing to do with accident statisics, at least not round here. Their favourite spots are nowhere near the accident blackspots.

Not that it matters who delivers the coup de grace, along with the 100 quid they'll be relieving me of.

Nope, don't give a shit about them. It was just a general comment.
However, despite having no sympathy for said nobheads I wouldn't post on a public forum wishing they were dead, even if i couldn't care less whether or not they are.
One that particularly pissed me off was when comments were open on a 17 year old girl's tragic suicide.
