No. I don't think they are but, as you say, there's a whole new way of telling the World about it.

Also of complaining about their treatment once meted out and an overbearing sense of "I've got rights". Less opportunity for the 'clip round the ear' and an amazing degree of support for their sense of grievance when challenged. Instead of parents saying "serves you rufht" much more likely to have them on the case supporting them.

Which may explain why they are amazed when pulled up.

The Derby fittie's dad has, to be fair, played it well so far.
I agree, although I suspect she may well want to stay in gaol in Malaysia, as she's in for one heck of a bollocking once she gets home!
This is good. The Super Soaraway will be able to caption page three with "Top Bollocks"

The Bolton News website and its comment facility. Giving a voice to the nastiest and most ignorant bigots in Bolton. The fact that they allow it on sensitive and tragic stories is a sickeningly cynical form of clickbait.
I hereby promise never to look at them again.

Benik Afobe's been called up. I'd stick with the birds' game on grounds of merit. ;)

I do hope you are not referring to those two knob head carjackers?
Got off lightly and cost the NHS a fortune for being a pair of 'lads', far too lightly they should be accompanying the Grim Reaper by now.

It's worth a look today the BEN site. A woman's 'outrage' at a teddy bear with genitalia on her childs birthday cake. Unbefeckinlievable

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Fantastic. The story has now made the nationals (Daily Heil ) and the mother is now being roundly slaughtered. Best laugh I've had for a while.

I see there were two bears. If the second had had a cock and balls that would surely have been the icing on the cake.

Think I've just been caught speeding. Ok, if I was over the limit, I hold my hands up, but putting speed cameras on an open road at 7.40pm with no houses, pedestrians, schools or clubs within a mile shows it for what it really is: nothing to do with road safety and everything about raising revenue.

Nope, nothing to do with the cops. Speed cameras are now the preserve if "Road safety partnerships", ie the council sell the contract to the partner who offers them the most revenue.

Nope, not right. The police are involved in the decision making where the cameras are placed as its them who compile the statistics of RTC's. The mobile camera operatives are also based at police stations and come under the control of the police.

Partnerships is/was the fancy phrase for involving other bodies public in reducing crime and disorder as per the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

And it's the Police that run the naughty drivers courses too isn't it?

The Lancashire road safety partnership does involve the police along with several councils. In effect, the operation of the cameras, as I undrstand it is run by a third party sub contractor, as are the driver awareness courses.

Location of the csmeras is nothing to do with accident statisics, at least not round here. Their favourite spots are nowhere near the accident blackspots.

Not that it matters who delivers the coup de grace, along with the 100 quid they'll be relieving me of.

Just seen this.
Nope, don't give a shit about them. It was just a general comment.
However, despite having no sympathy for said nobheads I wouldn't post on a public forum wishing they were dead, even if i couldn't care less whether or not they are.
One that particularly pissed me off was when comments were open on a 17 year old girl's tragic suicide.

The teddy bear story was ace. An offensive 'crease'. Hahahahaha!
