Yep. If he's as good as he seems then unless we have a "Bournemouth season" next time then he'll be off sooner or later but I'd be wanting us, for the first time in our existence, to get serious, serious money.
I told you he was good !

Well if they want him I guess they'll be getting him. Bagful of loot and immediate loan back perhaps?TKIZ! wrote:Oh no!

Sickening nonetheless.

He's been at Wanderers since he was 9! Gutted if he goes but then I'm sure I read somewhere that his family are all Blues?

Nothing even close to a quote or a source in that article.
That they're looking at him would hardly be surprising; given the start he had they'd be negligent not to. Long way between there and a transfer.
Though as others have said, sooner or later he'll be off if he's as good as he's looked.
As for doing a Bournemouth, that would require a Russian billionaire!

Especially as they are talking about lining up a £14m bid for Charlie Austin, but I digress from this true excellent Transfer threadPrufrock wrote:Nothing even close to a quote or a source in that article.

How will that and other plans they claim to have fit in with FFP ? I mean, given their 11,000 capacity ground and all that .... & 60% of their fans having to be back in their residential homes by 9pm.

If Carlsberg did transfer threads, this indeed would be it. It's every bit as good as their beer.

Utd paid £15M for Zaha, Clough is better, a shitload better. If we have any ambition of promotion we need to keep him. If we sell it needs to be for ridiculous money.

I've just noticed it's written by that man with the preposterous hairdo. I feel better already.

Manure - Hi Phil, we are looking at young Zach.
PG - Ohhh that's going to cost you lads!!
Manure - (Thinking around 15 mil mark) Errrr, how much Phil?
PG - Its 500k or this phonecall ends now!
Manure - Taxi is on the way Phil.
PG strikes again!

£4 mill is more like it.
I'd rather keep him, thanks. Even if we do remain poor, at least we'll get to watch the most exciting young talent we've had for years.

I'm sure it's nonsense. Since Van Gaal said he expected to be spending big this summer, they've been linked with every man and his dog.
Clough looked very good for the relatively few games he played but better than Zaha and someone to build a team around? Way too early to say imo

FCKG £24m, plus a percentage, plus international bonus', plus a year's loan, plus the right to shut Satan's Nest at our whim and guarantees we can have 3 of their next up & comings.
At least.

I was writing with tongue in cheek. 4 mill has traditionally been what our players have gone for down the years, with the exception of Anelka and Cahill. McAteer, Stubbs, Tommo, Sasa, Blake, Nolan ... it's always 4 mill!

FFP allows some leeway for owners (I think our plan has been to try to become self-sufficient without Eddie putting any in) and I think they've been spending what they can so far with the Russian backing them as far as he can (my Bournemouth fan mate reckons he said he wasn't going to put any extra in at all until they got in the Prem but I'm not buying that; we haven't bought a striker for £3m for a while!), but now the shackles are about to come off.

Would hate to lose Clough. Just another gap we would fill inadequately or not at all.

Mr Palacios won't be staying. Seems he's failed a fitness test .... 3rd this summer ... as his ongoing hamstring issue remains. Poor sod (well .... RICH sod, I guess) needs that properly sorting out or it's retirement time I suppose.

Jamie Sanderson. In the Metro. Regurgitating a story from the Daily Star, which is a comic run by a c*nt.
Zach will go eventually – they all do, one way or another – but I wouldn't lose sleep over this story. ("Story" here being closely related to "fiction".)

Wheaten staying at home to sort his hamstrings out and Kirkland not happening according to Iles. The New Campo to be unveiled later today apparently.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.
