. Doesn't apply in the Prem I don't think (though a different set of FFP rules apply for European comps, hence City getting "punished").

FFP allows some leeway for owners (I think our plan has been to try to become self-sufficient without Eddie putting any in) and I think they've been spending what they can so far with the Russian backing them as far as he can (my Bournemouth fan mate reckons he said he wasn't going to put any extra in at all until they got in the Prem but I'm not buying that; we haven't bought a striker for £3m for a while!), but now the shackles are about to come off.
