That's interesting, because he didn't get much of a sniff after Lenny pitched up.

Strikes me as perfect for us - can play both LB & RB.

I'm guessing they are allowing him to train to get fit as he doesn't have a club. If he's cheap enough I'd be happy with him.

Nixon said we were trying to sign Giovanni Simeone (Striker) (Diego's son) but he decided to move to Argentina.

... which would be interesting except he's been in Argentina for the past 2 years.

I've heard we might be selling Vela.

Rather he said he wanted to come on loan to England, then changed his mind and signed for an Argentinian club.

Two positions we don't use in Lennon's hol(e)y back three...

Seriously - if he's not overly expensive - he's a good squad man, good cover, and presumably he's well-regarded if he's in with the kids. But he's definitely more of a full-back than a wing-back, he (as you note) was cold-shouldered under Lennon (not fit enough?), and he's not in Austria.

An excellent squad player at this level. It was a mystery why Lenin ostracised him last year ad then the first game he gave him another go he got injured.

It may just be that he needs somewhere to train and we've obliged but we could have far worse in our squad.

Hmm. He's come home early from the Austrian Adventure with a "virus" (that no one else seems to have).

Lennon told McNaughton that he didn't think he was fit enough or doing enough in training. So Kev, who was a bit miffed about this, sought to prove him otherwise. Lennon gave him a start and Kev got injured.

Dobbie's name has popped up on the old vidiprinter a number of times down the years whilst playing for the Tangerines, but the fact that he's spent most of his career out on loan is a bit weird.

Seems like the kind of guy who might nick a few but who otherwise might just be more of a liability than anything else.

Baptiste has just broke his leg, 20 minutes into his debut for Boro. Oh dear!

Shame for him. I wouldn't wish that on him.

However, it's "good" to see it's not just us this happens to !
