He'll have been running incorrectly. If he'd listen to the pearls of wisdom doled out by Douglas he'd have been fine.freeindeed wrote:It was probably our training that prepared it though..

Lussey and Ceberio are confirmed ... both "one's for the future".

Would like to see Lussey and Ceberio given a game in the first team friendlies at some point. I'd imagine these are just academy players who were touch and go regarding whether we sign them so i'd imagine they're more than likely not going to make the grade.

Can anyone remind me where we are with Clayton? Will he be back before the season starts?

He's training but I think they're still making sure the final part of the rehab goes smoothly so haven't risked him in the first game. He's seemingly nearer to being back than Wheater is judging by the fact he went to Austria but Wheater didn't...TonyDomingos wrote:Can anyone remind me where we are with Clayton? Cheers. I hadn't realised he was in Austria. I'm looking forward to seeing him play next season.danardif1 wrote:He's training but I think they're still making sure the final part of the rehab goes smoothly so haven't risked him in the first game. Lennon in the BN:
"If we’re going to bring someone in, it looks like there has to be someone going out. It’s a juggling act at the minute. It’s a source of frustration when you consider how much money I’ve saved since we came through the door but that’s just the reality of the situation. Unless that changes, we work within our limitations.
“We’ve cleared quite a substantial amount of money off the wage bill so we are looking to improve the squad, but we have found it very difficult. Things won’t happen overnight and I’d tend to think there will be more business done between now and the start of the season, that things will probably hot up when we get back to England.
"We have our eye on one or two players and there may be a couple more players going out. Conor Wilkinson has already gone, Sanmi Odelusi has gone, and I think there will be more. We still need strengthening in one or two positions quite urgently, goalkeeper being one of them. We still have quite a bit of work to do.”

It smacks of "I wouldn't be scratching round like this at Leicester"

I think, considering the situation, it could be a lot more strongly-worded than it is.
Or maybe he's just more carefully-worded with a journalist than he apparently is with the public, including with his cock in his hand.

Surely we still don't have a wage bill of £26M ?
If so its astonishing IMO, who on earth are we still paying high wages to ?
