Brill. I didn't even know these were on YouTube. I haven't seen that first goal of the season at Port Vale since I was there in '96.

I can't recall Frandsen's goal against City at Burnden; the only thing I remember from that game is getting twatted in the face by a stray shot from super John during the warm up

What a great compilation. The team spirit in that side just shone out. Simple, direct football, great effort and 100 per cent commitment. No room for half-hearted stuff with those lads. It sure seems a long time ago though. Oh for a Thompson, Lee, Frandsen or McGinlay right now.

Think I've got this on dvd or vhs somewhere. Dodgy music aside it's a peach!

Back in the Frandsen days I used to have season tickets in front of a pair of delightful old ladies and they had a nickname of 'Peaches' for our Danish midfield dynamo. Needless to say it stuck with me and my old man.
