Would love to see him here but can't see it myself.
The guy who got an England cap on the back of one very good goal on returning from injury?

Yeah. He fired Cardiff to promotion a few seasons back.

Happening according to Neil Lennon.

Bolton Wanderers FC ‏@OfficialBWFC 15m15 minutes ago

NL: We're also hoping to bring in another player today. Prince-Desir from Atalanta. #BWFC

NL: There is interest in Tim from QPR, but well below our valuation. Regardless of that, he's not for sale. He's a key player here. #BWFC

NL: Tim came back with a dead leg from Gold Cup duty so we'll assess him. We needed another defender & so have brought in Prince. #BWFC

Interesting stuff. Again shows Rhys things aren't as bleak as the doom mongers make out.

An unknown but seems to have the physical attributes to be suitable and be what we need. Fingers crossed.

Is he that nice person that's riddled with pikey tattoos that played for Blackpool? Couldn't dosh up for a snood so cut a hole in a bobble hat?

Didn't he do "Hallelujah Freedom" ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

from his wiki - Gouano is a defender, who primarily plays as a center back in a four or three man back-line - so there you go personnel to fit any system

Notice BN are continuing to speculate on the Pisano deal today

Rumours of Bannan coming back. Can't see that being right after his discipline issues. Can't see the point of him if we've got Spearing and Medo.

Bannan's a different player to those two but yet again he's a central midfielder, which we don't need.

Anyway, the brilliantly-named Prince-Desir Gouano. He’s 6ft 2in, so not exactly a “beast” (he’s three inches shorter than Wheater, an inch shorter than Dervite and the same height as Moxey), but he was at one stage described as a potential successor to Lilian Thuram (6ft 0in). I think (from a questionably-translated French page) he's right-footed.

Born in Paris on Christmas Eve 1993, he represented France at U18/U19/U20. Started at Le Havre, signed (age 17) by Juventus, who loaned him out to two Serie B clubs, for whom he barely played, then to RKC Waalwijk (then in Holland’s top flight) where he spent the 2013/14 season and played a couple of dozen games. While he was there he was sold to Atalanta as part of a swap deal; they loaned him out again for last season, to Portuguese top-flight side Rio Ave, where again he played a couple of dozen games.

Obviously he's had a peripatetic lifestyle since the big failed move to Juve. His successful loans to Holland and Portugal show a willingness to adapt to different cultures (footballing and social) and let's hope he settles in well – and that the suggested loan-to-buy deal is at a price we can afford if he does well, rather than a Juke/ALF "shop window" job.

Good luck, sweet Prince!

I shan't. :D

Heskey scored less goals internationally than both Jose Luis Chilavert and Rene Higuita. They are goalkeepers!!!!

According to the beeb, we've signed Prince: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33802910" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

RE: Nolan. I remember the vitriol from the stands just before he left, with fans calling him the fattest feck since Jardel. I guess it shows the sign of the times when we're (some of us anyway) excited to have him back.

Scored more than Michael Ricketts though....

Seriously I don't get the Heskey signing. I can only assume it is because he's on £50 a week and a £1000 per goal bonus or something...
