I always back new signings because they're a White, but these names underwhelm me.

The problem is they were very green when they arrived, and if these new lads are also very green it won't work out.

Of course, we might land ourselves a Bamford-type but recent times have made me right pessimistic about young guns coming in on loan.

@BB: No, not thus far. I think we're just "linked" to him at the moment; I suspect Pisano is probably the one who Lennon expects to sign today (since that seems to have been going on for weeks).

Pisano is supposedly flying in today. Doubt he'll be confirmed that soon given he will presumably need a medical and international clearance even if terms are already agreed.

And as he's been without a club suspect he might be a bit rusty.

The one Lennon expects to sign (yesterday) is Wellington.
