If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Really? Ream must have been on a shedload of money
Well he was signed as Cahill's 'replacement' when we were still in the Premier League... it's not difficult to imagine he was on £20k+ a week...
That's what the Mail reported at the time.

Pisano sort of but not official, bit like Ream going to Fulham. All but signed. Rumoured to have another coming in too, unnamed attacking sort, and apparently talking to a few more too.
So, right as of now the answer is "no".
Well...yeah but it's not an official no either. Agreed in principle is probably the term :P
That'll help us tomorrow night...."in principle, our new defender would have tackled him then, please could you chalk the goal off?"... :-)

You forgot about the hypothetical hat-trick too
270 minutes with no goals, we'd never get away with THAT one....

Is it just me who is underwhelmed by these attackers that are being linked with us? We get shut of Ream for 2mill and we're being linked with loans for Wellington Silva and Josh Murphy?

Who the frig are these two? (hypothetical question)

Sound like another pair of Afobe's to me.

Either invest the money in someone with experience or promote Woolery and Thomas.

BWFC since 2012, mate. It's getting boring now. And it keeps failing.

We're only signing Wellington as it stands, and Pisano the Italian full back.

Murphy is not signing, at least at this stage.

Harsh writing anyone off without seeing them. We shall see. Remember nothing compares to the joke of buying Ream as a replacement for Gary Cahill.

I always back new signings because they're a White, but these names underwhelm me.

I can just imagine more Kakuta's, Miyachi's and Afobe's who are out of their depth.

Or more Twardizk's, Rochina's and Slavchev's.

It's just what recent times have taught me.

They were out of their depth in the Premier League granted, but the leap is huge.. This Wellington, is supposed to be quick and lively - Something we're missing.

I imagine, Kakuta, Miyaichi and especially Afobe would be welcome additions to our squad right at this very moment an would walk straight in

Wasn't Miyaichi released this summer too?
Don't think he'd play for the twix and a half eaten bag of flaming hot monster munch, that we'd offer him

Afobe was here in the Championship.

The problem is they were very green when they arrived, and if these new lads are also very green it won't work out.

Of course, we might land ourselves a Bamford-type but recent times have made me right pessimistic about young guns coming in on loan.

Kakuta was sold for an incredible 3.5mill last month btw.

I'd just like to point out that some of our potential signings have ridiculous hairstyles...they better be fking good at football.

Not that I'm biased and old or owt, but it will weigh heavily with me, if they have a stupid hairstyle and are shit

@BB: No, not thus far. I think we're just "linked" to him at the moment; I suspect Pisano is probably the one who Lennon expects to sign today (since that seems to have been going on for weeks).
Pisano is supposedly flying in today. Doubt he'll be confirmed that soon given he will presumably need a medical and international clearance even if terms are already agreed.

And as he's been without a club suspect he might be a bit rusty.

The one Lennon expects to sign (yesterday) is Wellington.

I thought Pisano had a medical and agreed terms, but we couldn't do anything until Ream was finalised
