That's a bit harsh LK. Not going to get into a big rant with you over it but ... for all the things the Israeli's have done I'm not aware that they have World domination in their minds. Nor massacres of whole cultures, nor saw people's heads off or shoot dozens of people stood in graves they've just made them dig, or put people in cages and drown them or see rape of infidels as a legitimate action, or throw gays off roofs.

Nor did the IRA or UDF.

So as I said, whatever bad things the more extreme Jews may have done .. and there are many ... (ie. "for all their faults") it really doesn't come near what ISIS are doing.

The Israelis established their own state (religiously based) through the use of terrorism. Perhaps you'll be more forgiving when ISIS have their own state and can legitimately oppress people as they see fit?

I'm not convinced by that. Not that I know, but my gut says folk living in 'ISIS' controlled areas aren't living a carefree lifestyle.

Corbyn dismissed public concerns about immigration, saying that in some years more people emigrate than immigrate and that immigrants have contributed enormously to British life since the second world war.

Short of spending more than the entire GDP of the whole of Europe on a 50 foot wall all around our borders, what is the answer? Beyond the painfully obvious ones of attempting to make the countries they come from better places to stay?

Short of spending more than the entire GDP of the whole of Europe on a 50 foot wall all around our borders, what is the answer? Beyond the painfully obvious ones of attempting to make the countries they come from better places to stay?

First off, we are supposed to be on very good terms with most of the countries holding the vast bulk of refugees, so I would be talking to them.
The purpose would be to help them setup decentish transit camps, even if it meant sending the royal engineers or whatever EU equivalent to help build them, help fund them and assist with medical/food needs.
I would be pushing the UN and any other interested parties to allow a country to keep refugees/migrants in these holding areas until processed (as long as certain minimum conditions applied), then then they would be allowed to move on to the EU but in allocated order to an EU country, it could be checked if any of them have specialist skills so they could be allocated where needed.
Yes I know the process would take time, but that would help a slow manageable integration into the surrounding populace plus I doubt any of the non genuine, job robbing, economic migrants would hang around.
I realise this is saying we have to except immigrants, of course we do but in a controlled manner and when they are in their new host country they should be assigned which area they live in, be it Scotland, England or Wales or whatever, again this would sit badly with the non genuine, job robbing, economic migrants.
This all sounds a bit arbitrary but if you were safe, fed and housed with a future, could you reasonably object if you were fleeing for your life genuinely?
Illegals would be DNA tested and deported right back to their country of origin, you ain't got the proper processed paperwork, back you go!
