That is true - the wine especially is pricey. Hope you can get a table. It isnt always easy at short notice. If you can't then Morito is an exceptionally good alternative. You can't book at Morito and it's popular and small. They take your mobile number and call you when they have a table. If its fine an outside table is good. Wine list all Spanish ISTR. You could try a... Rioja...

I'm one of these on here who's very anti strange presentation. However, I have to say that, for me, a cheese course actually benefits aesthetically by being served on a slate.

I can tell you it isn't funny. Once, whilst very ill on admittance to hospital they liquidised the Sunday lunch and served it to me in a bowl. A pint glass would neither have helped nor made it worse
