Unbelievable we had a player sent off in that game and they didn't. Challenges on mavies, and Silva were appalling and could have led too serious injuries. we get a player sent off for a slight push . also the players they tried to injure just happend to be Silva mavies and clough. Theyknew exactly what they we're doing. Disgraceful from Blackburn and from the ref.
Unfortunatelt that seems to be par for the course in this division. Players are allowed to be kicked out of games and some of the refereeing really boggles the mind...

Mark Davies was excellent, Clough ok - Silva disappointing for me....Heskey did more in 5 mins than Madine did all game - Madine is fecking shite get him on the bench, if we continue with him up front we will really struggle, he's league 1 standard at best, thought Wilson was poor as well he's not good enough IMO.

Lennon needs to change tactics quickly & stop this awful hoof ball to the awful Madine, we will win games if we play it on the deck, we have a decent team if we just play football - which we did 2nd half....but overall a decent point.

Referee was shocking....

There wasn't enough in the midfield, period. Mavies was as anonymous as the rest, first half. Looked better second half...Other than the Heskey chance, we didn't look at all likely to trouble the scorer. Think they had the clearer chances, but though our defence did ok-ish.

Credit to Lennon for fixing the defence. Now fix us going forward!

Physical football is fine, but that was out and out thuggery by a team of cloggers. A couple of times the ref was right on top, like five yards away, from blatant fouls yet gave nothing. He was a complete comedien from start to finish. There's no arguing that foul in the box is a penalty, they committed two inside a minute and we got nothng. Did love Moxey taking the mick with the towel on his throw in. Thought our defenders worked hard and well, but Prince caused a couple of scary moments. Cloggers like this lot (Duffy has the finesse of a J.C.B at an egg-painting feastival) could wreck young Clough's confidence if refs don't start protecting players like him a little. Danns was man of the match for me, with Mark Davies not far behind.

Same as against Forest. This midfield isn't managing or controlling the game. This season already is lookimg grim. Will we ever win a game? What is the record for our longest start without a win?

We played better second half. But hand on heart 0-0 was the best result we had a chance of really. Another winless August.
His tackles were rash but he gave a hundred percent otherwise and keeping him out for whom, Dave Wheater? We're not exactly over flush with big animals at central defence.

Derik.

That was a fcuking retardef 'tackle' to make on a booking on 93 minutes. Bell end. Not the first time either.

And if Derik performs he stays out. Suits me.

I don't know but I'm pretty sure two years ago we didn't win in our first ten games. Still time then.

Dervite's second booking was scandalous, I was losing my mind at the stupid tosser with his stupid f*cking goatee. BUUUUT Boro 3 at the back piss take aside, that's 2 conceded in 4, one of which was a David Vaughn worldie. The back 4 is sorted, don't piss about with it.

Agreed! I do think it was a Jekyll and Hyde performance for Prince though! One minute he'd look the best defender on the pitch then hid touch or pass would dessert him.

still, he'll only get better! taking all into account. am really am impressed with him

And I hope derik does well enough to warrant the bell end not getting back in the side...simple really.

His second yellow was silly, but I don't get the hate.

He's been very good this season.

I don't make a point of it, but...^

Lost my rag at him tonight but it's no accident he's been at the middle of a very solid back four.

AND, I'd like to be wrong, but I'll plat fog if we're better with a new-to-the-country Spanish Kid.

Well that was awful. We created one chance against one of the worst teams in the league. Wellington looked terrible and should have been sent off. This defense looked ok but we were up against a very poor side, not sure others will give us such an easy time. Madine nowhere near good enough for this level. I seriously don't see where our goals will come from. Heskey, Madine and Dobbie have a record that suggests 10 goals between them. The other teams as bad as us will win the odd game, if we can't score then the best we can do is draw. I think we are looking certs for the drop unless by some miracle we sign a striker in the next few days

we have already signed three strikers in this last window - Heskey, Dobbie and Madine...
