^^ a couple of glugs of that 4 times a day and you'd positively WANT to catch a cough.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

A new low for the Bolton News this evening, juxtaposing a story about 2 little girls being seriously injured after being hit by a car..........with an advert for CSL Autos in the middle. Sack that sub editor!

The BN haven't juxtaposed anything of the sort, Bob. Had the story been about say, food, then you'd probably have found a supermarket related ad there instead. It's beyond their editorial control. They're data driven

Years ago when Mrs G worked there, they ran a story about a couple of deaths in a nursing home that were being investigated by GMP. Unfortunately that was the day their new bingo competition started. Under the deaths story was the strap line 'Your numbers up!'
"Get your feet off the furniture you Oxbridge tw*t. You're not on a feckin punt now you know"

Harnessing the power of big data within a CX programme underpinned by data lakes of structured and unstructured data, surely?

There was a story I read online recently about the Holocaust, and I swear to god there was an advert for one of those walk in baths and showers that old peoples use.

As we head towards winter I thought I'd better treat myself to a nice pullover.

I've budgeted £475 for one so should be able to get something warm and stylish for that, shouldn't I?!

Oh yes, look!

Pink wouldn't suit you anyway.

"Distressed". Good choice of word. At least you could catch fish with it.

Here's one. We're about to order this year's Christmas cards to send out to customers, usually one per organisation. Now then, a colleague has mentioned sending e-cards to individuals instead.

So, the debate is; Tangible Christmas cards that will look nice in reception areas but that no-one will ever actually pay any attention to vs Ecards which, although providing the opportunity to wish everyone an individual merry Christmas are no card at all, and for my money lack sincerity anyway.

Personally I think we should give the money to charity and have a footnote on all outgoing emails and documents telling folk as to why they've not received any seasonal greetings from us.

Where do you stand on this?

Charity money and a footnote. IMO.

My bank sends me a Birthday card every year (usually about 3 weeks after the event) and I always think what a waste of money and resources. In my view Christmas cards are personal, they are from one person to another. I can't really be doing even with the whole office thing of everyone giving everyone else a card. What is the point?
