Unlikely. Outside appointment according to Iles. Too random for Nolan to come as a coach. Doubt he's even got the right badges yet.TKIZ! wrote:I reckon it's Garry Parker and Nobby is coming in as a player coachBWFC_Insane wrote:Assistant manager usually would be someone a manager knows they can work with. Youth to Senior isn't necessarily a promotion. They're different skill sets.
I'm guessing it's someone Lenin knows. And I'm guessing it's someone he gets along with ... but that's some way from giving your fat brother-in-law the kit man job, or a contract to an old playing colleague because he's good for moral in the changing room or appearing to scout solely from your old club or mates you once trained with.
Wouldn't surprise me if it was Tomo tbh.

He don't need no steenking badges !!

Possibly, I don't know how long the coaching courses are but he's definitely doing/has done them:BWFC_Insane wrote:Unlikely. Outside appointment according to Iles. The first few aren't very long, especially when you don't work afternoons or summers, but most players still get to their mid-30s before bothering.Possibly, I don't know how long the coaching courses are but he's definitely doing/has done them:

For the record, that quote only says Nobby is "interested in" doing coaching badges. I'm interested in doing Rachel Riley...
Re: Mjallby Leaving?
Wouldn't surprise me if he'd started already. His family are well into amateur football aren't they? And 40% of people doing the coaching badges are scouse. They understand the game, you see.

Re: Mjallby Leaving?
Rachel Riley freaks me out because her face is too symmetrical. It's like she's been produced on a computer.
And that's the reason why I'm never going to sleep with her.

Just that she asked me not to mention it previously.
Oh ... & that face isn't ALWAYS symmetrical.

Not at the 'moment' obviously.
Although now into my 40s maintain a strong admiration for Susie Dent, although she may now be considered to be 'of a certain age' according to the Enoch Index.
WTF has any of this got to do with Jamie Lannister leaving anyway?

Never. As long as it remains a hypothetical...BWFC_Insane wrote:I'd make an exception.....Prufrock wrote:She's an Essex girl DMB. That's enough for me.

Either way, whoever is selected Twilight has to give them the once over.
The twice over if she can't quite decide.

From a Q&A sesh in the BN:
Q - Who will replace Johan Mjallby? @Ste6106
A – The new assistant manager will be vastly experienced with international and club experience. He is well known to Neil Lennon.
Seems like the next assistant manager is already known and all but in place.

Steve Walford we are trying to get, currently part of the EIRE coaching team.
He was a centre half as well.

Yes, on the radio after the game Lennon said that a replacement for Mjallby will be appointed early this week.clapton is god wrote:From a Q&A sesh in the BN:

So, anyone any idea based on the clues so far? Lennon can't have worked with that many.....

Yup. From this morning's press conference -
@OfficialBWFC: NL: We're hoping to conclude a deal to bring Steve Walford in as our new assistant manager. He'll bring a wealth of experience.
