Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: New Kit
Still one more kit to come yet. Sure I read somewhere it has blue and white stripes.
Re: New Kit
Amidst all the excitement of the mystery striker, the club have released the third kit. It has the names of all those who died in the Burnden disaster on it apparently. It also appears to be without a sponsor. My phone won't allow me to post the picture but it's on the official site for those who are interested.

That strikes me as either a really good idea or one in terrible taste... I think at the moment I'm equally split on which side of my own mental divide I'll fall on that one...Nicko58 wrote:Amidst all the excitement of the mystery striker, the club have released the third kit. Splendid looking shirt. Looks real quality in the design and colours. Good job.

Re: New Kit
Forgot to say.. There will be no sponsor on the replica shirts. Rok Mobile requested this happen out of respect.
A round of applause to those guys!

Nice touch. Not too sure about the design - big hoops can lead to big moobs - but nice colours, nice idea and nice of Rok to withdraw the logo.
Re: New Kit
Just checked the online shop and the away shirt isn't up there (only juniors). Is it still available in store?

Re: New Kit
As I've said before - the club never commemorated this disaster once until it became de rigeur to do so, and now they're going the whole nine yards by actually cashing in on it with a sickly new kit. The whole thinking here lacks any semblance of either true respect for the 33 who perished, or any class. It's pure Scouse!

As far back as I can remember, the club have hosted a memorial service at the ground

Forgot to mention that £10 from each sale goes to charity as well.

The other week someone put a pic of the victorious sherpa van trophy winners from 1989. I knew all of them. In that pic above I'm only sure who Wheater is. I'm getting old
