He knows that when he's on that path then there's a lunch at the Strawbury Duck at the top of it. Clever dogs, them border collies. ;)

Indeed they are. Mine's trained in the art of pub finding. Any new town we go to she can sniff out the real ales and always manages to find the best pub (not that she drinks herself, mind) 8) .
