Lennon presser, as tweeted by the club.
I've spoken with Trevor Birch and I'm hearing positive things. Regardless, we'll keep going and focusing on what we can do.
I'm like everyone else. I want what's best for the club. Yes, it's a difficult time, but we have to trust the process.
Max Clayton is seeing a specialist today to see if he'll need surgery. If he does, he'll be out for the season.
A win would be massive for us this weekend and I know we can get it. We really are due a victory sooner rather than later.
The main thing for us is to stay within touching distance of those teams above us and a win on Saturday would ensure just that.
As footballers, once you get out there on the pitch, the game is the only thing that matters.
The fans have been fantastic, they really have. We need them to keep giving us that, especially in the current situation.
In spite of what is happening at the moment, results still remain my priority and that of the players.
For me at the moment, it's my job to ensure that the players are focused on Saturday and that's exactly what I'll be doing.

hmmm.... except it doesn't work like that! we are not "due" a win - nobody owes us one - it is not our turn for a win - we have to go out an score some goals and not let any/many in!A win would be massive for us this weekend and I know we can get it. We really are due a victory sooner rather than later.

A 0-2 loss, with Lennon to walk on Monday stating his position is untenable and the club weren't straight with him when he was appointed. That way, he saves his reputation for now. YHIHF.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

it'd be a smart move to get out before being chucked out - teflon intact....Bijou Bob wrote:A 0-2 loss, with Lennon to walk on Monday stating his position is untenable and the club weren't straight with him when he was appointed. That way, he saves his reputation for now. YHIHF.
it'd also save us some cash!

You not reckon he'd punt for constructive, given all the "I didn't know the situation" statements?

Jesus f*cking Christ. So not a dead leg then...erm. Anybody even remotely hopeful that it isn't going to turn out to be an all season job? Balls.Jugs wrote:Jesus Christ. When it bloody rains
EDIT: This post was in reference to Insane's bad news about Clayton possibly being out for the whole season ^^

He's clearly ensuring he's got a punt at statutory sick pay...It'll be reet when the takeover completes.Prufrock wrote:Jesus f*cking Christ. So not a dead leg then...erm. Not if we're 17 points behind 2nd bottom it won't!Worthy4England wrote:He's clearly ensuring he's got a punt at statutory sick pay...It'll be reet when the takeover completes.Prufrock wrote:Jesus f*cking Christ. I've seen Clayton a couple of times live this season - neither time has he really looked like a gamechanger... it's a blow - but not like losing Holden or Muamba or Nicky Hunt was back in the day!Jugs wrote:Not even a glimmer, mate.Prufrock wrote:Jesus f*cking Christ. He was good in his first game back against Brighton and looked sharp against Preston ... but I agree that he's not been playing like a game-changer. There's a player in him though, but it'll never come out if he keeps getting these long-term injuries. It's a blow because we're another man down, too.thebish wrote:I've seen Clayton a couple of times live this season - neither time has he really looked like a gamechanger... it's a blow - but not like losing Holden or Muamba or Nicky Hunt was back in the day!Jugs wrote:Not even a glimmer, mate.Prufrock wrote:Jesus f*cking Christ. There seems to be an effort on social media - backed and promoted by Iles - to get more folk in the ground on Saturday. Not sure if it will work but here's hoping we get more support this weekend. We need it.

A one goal win, a one goal loss and 7 draws. Stick Woolery in and see if having someone up there who can run fast makes a difference. He's not a baby, he's scoring for the reserves, what's to lose?

I read that the Fanzone won't be open because of the pantomime that's going on in the stadium....
What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...

Fine margins.LeverEnd wrote:A one goal win, a one goal loss and 7 draws.
Obviously stupidly hypothetical but one extra goal in each of those nine home games would have us in 9th.

Fans now offering to pay for tickets for people who can't afford to go. The club also upgrading season tickets for free and offering cheap tickets. Hopefully we can get a strong attendance and rally the lads on to a win. I'm starting to forget what a win feels like!

^^ Not everyone is optimistic about the campaign to get a good turn out tomorrow...as reported in the press...
YKWYA
Some right bloody humbugs about...“We couldn’t #fillthemacron if we took out 10000 seats and were playing Brazil in the FA Cup Final.”
