It's fecking grim in Leeds and now on the motorway. Let's hope it better on the Costa del Hull. My mate and I both agreed on 4 nil. I dream of a slender battling defeat but don't want to get my hopes up!

No we won't. We have better players. We'll win - our midfielders will get the goals.Peter Thompson wrote:This - we will lose heavily....TonyDomingos wrote:This will be 4 or 5-0.

It's grim everywhere mate. Our back garden is floating and it's still lashing down. Can imagine Hull being a bit more than nasty, it's showing a temp of six degrees right now on weather forecast. Ah, well, whatever, COME ON YOU WHITES....LeverEnd wrote:It's fecking grim in Leeds and now on the motorway. Let's hope it better on the Costa del Hull. My mate and I both agreed on 4 nil. Get it done, get it won, a battling victory for us..

If ever,we needed a win today is right up there! Doom and gloom has been hanging over us for 2years and it's time the Players really put a shift in to show the fans that they care about the Club as much as the fans! After all they get cash! We only get pain and heartache and the occasional euphoria!

He's available. But if he slots into central midfield in a 4-4-2 with two wingers away to one of the strongest teams in the league, we'll know that Lennon is up to the Coyle-medley part of his Repeating Predecessors' Mistakes stage-show.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Is Mavies playing?

Lennon talked about a change of formation in the press conference. That could be a good thing, but it could also mean 3-5-2.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:He's available. Cheers. Glad he's not playing such an open system. It would be very ballsy indeed to revert to the spectacularly unsuccessful back three. (Hull used to play it well, but they're more often a back four these days.)Nicko58 wrote:Lennon talked about a change of formation in the press conference. I think we might find out. This does look like a back three:
Amos, Vela, Prince, Wheater, Holding, Moxey, Davies, Danns, Pratley, Feeney, Ameobi
Subs: Rachubka, Spearing, Derik, Heskey, Dobbie, Twardzik, Walker

That "player order" is as tweeted by the club. I'm guessing it's not Neil Lennon sending it. But there seems to be three centre-backs (Prince, Wheater, Holding) which would allow Vela and Moxey to push on, fits Davies in with two midfield runners (Danns and Pratley) and allows Feeney to offer pace alongside Ameobi.
In theory, it works. Let's hope it does in practice. Let's hope we've worked really f*cking hard on the training ground to make it so. That doesn't cost anything.

Might be the back 4.
Might be the back 4.

To be fair, Madine had a good game last week. Scored a cracker and laid another on a plate for Dobbie.Dr Hotdog wrote:If there was a Champange-cork-popping emoticon/smiles/icon, i'd be posting it right here.Jugs wrote:No Madine?

Could be either of those things. We're blessed with several players who are equally uncomfortable in several positions...Little Green Man wrote:Might be Holding at left-back.
To me, a back three would put the most of those 11 pegs in the right-shaped holes, although the formation as a whole has been rubbish for us. That said, have we tried it since Walford came? Am I being hopelessly optimistic that the guy who helped MON's Leicester play it so well might be able to help?
