Possibly surprisingly, anyone visiting the Bury messageboard might note that they are not taking the piss; apart from the complete nonsence of all the parachute money being wasted and thinking big based on Eddie's money - which is probaby a fair point and a fair point. Think the loss of a rival club due to financial - well, I don't want to be sued, do I? - hits home.

You're probably right. They've put up such a piss poor effort over the last few years that I'd forgotten all about them. That said, Ryan Lowe would still have been their best player over the last twenty years, which is a bit of a poor do.
