Yet more lies from the club then. And either the PFA are lying too or we've pocketed the money they gave us to pay the playérs.Bijou Bob wrote:And some as yer unconfirmed chat that the players were not actually paid 3 days ago and still haven't received anything.
So I hope that's not true.

There is NO possibility that we've taken money for wages from the PFA and then spent it on the electricity bill. None.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

If there's one player from our squad I'd like to see stay,it's Wheater!

Wheater as captain.jonnycooper wrote:If there's one player from our squad I'd like to see stay,it's Wheater!
Clough.
Vela.
Holding.
Those are the only four that I'd be reasonably miffed if we palmed them off. The latter two only because they're young, and come the Great Rebuilding, they're the sort we'd be wanting to build around.

Wheater is a decent player but on too much!
I'd only keep
Clough
Amos(wage dependent)
Holding
Vela
Prince(Not that we can afford himbut maybe another loan)
Feeney

...particularly considering he turns like a tanker. Love the bloke and all that but let's face it, he's limited. I was stunned to read he got a wage bump.plymouth wanderer wrote:Wheater is a decent player but on too much!

Aye, I thought he was a brilliant player for Boro. Him and Huth was a good pairing.
I was chuffed to bits when we signed him, but he is quite injury prone and very hit n miss!

John Terry has always been slow, but in his prime was as good as it got. Wheater is head and shoulders above the other calamities we have there. And is a leader. Keep. Along with Clough. Wouldn't be sad to see any of the rest go.

Nah, I disagree on that. Terry never truly excelled at the top level for England, and although he was a great leader for Chelsea he was still susceptible to pace and subtle movement. "As good as it got"? Sorry, I couldn't agree with that.Prufrock wrote:John Terry has always been slow, but in his prime was as good as it got.
And Terry turned about five times faster than Big Dave. He's the best centre-back we've got, but every time we've faced an opponent with a fast striker who figures out to just run straight at, and past him, we've been as easily beaten as he is.

^^ He's like a shite Jerry Taggart. He's OK with a fast one besides him but far from great. ..... which, tbf, still makes him our best.

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
It's not a question of whether he's better than the rest of our shithouses, but whether he's worth 5 times more wages than theirs when we are skint. I'd say not, sad as I'd be to see him go. Plus there's every chance he''ll be injured a week after the window closes and we commit to paying him for the rest of his contract.

None of ours are worth what they get cos we cant afford it. Some massive shocks coming there wY this month. A percentage of what we pay em is all they will get.
