Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: The Debt.
There's lots of London-based foreign cash; the housing market and various governments' willingness to accommodate money-launderers makes it a mercantile Mecca. But the previous Prem experience is interesting, and must narrow it down some.malcd1 wrote:Not sure who this. Any guesses?Alan Nixon Tweet wrote:Bolton. Interesting new bidder around. London based. However, I can't be arsed decoding Nixon's runes.

The only good thing about this is that it means we're arguing about the vinegar strokes.
So a deal is close. What, with whom and other such notwithstanding that's not a bad news.

Re: The Debt.
This is just a paraphrase from Marc Iles in the boltonnews mentioning that talks had proceeded a little further and this is the stumbling block. If ED lets us go to the wall over a potential £2.2 mil then he's a grade A cnut.

Re: The Debt.
The way I read that is that the new bods are ok with the 2.2mil but want indemnity against any future additional claims from the tax man, which could potentially be many millions....or nowt at all. Ed isn't happy with that. I wonder why? Does he know or suspect something?DJBlu wrote:This is just a paraphrase from Marc Iles in the boltonnews mentioning that talks had proceeded a little further and this is the stumbling block. Re: The Debt.
^^ Normal 'due diligence' then. It does imply they are close ... but not confident they've unturned every stone and to progress in the time frame want an indemnity. Not unreasonable in itself.
