Apparently, Zach has rejected the move and the club are furious. Absolute fecking wankers if true.

The problem is there isn't a club without new owners. And the more we sell off the less likely a new owner becomes in my view.

We are just treading water till then. I suspect we can but a month or two but little more.

We aren't going to be here next season if Eddie hasn't sold up.
We might not be here next week if we're wound up...

Just one twitter user reckons he's turned it down. That would mean he hasn't even travelled to speak with them. Can't believe that. I'm sure he and his agent will at least hear them out in what they're offering.

He'll get a better offer. Just might not be as much cash on the table for us I guess. Or in time for the tax bill.

Always been grateful to Eddie Davies as an owner and never said much against the board, but the sport's been replaced by business and, when a business hints at trouble you don't sack the receptionist or the typist. Neither the owner, board, managers or players have been good enough to keep us from being a Premiership team to one propping up the Championship and with more debt than we can ever repay. Head in sand philosophy rarely works but the overseers have to take the blame and they start at the top not the bottom. Badly done indeed Emma ( oops, er that wasn't intentional Mrs D.) .

Don't understand Insane ones dismissal of Bristol City. A good club, big following and with bags of potential. No reason for them not to become the next us, Wigan, Stoke etc.

That said, it's easy to see why Zach would turn them down. A mid table Premiership club will surely take a punt on him. Perhaps not for £3m though :(

They're in a pretty precarious league position. If they go down, it would seem like a really shit move for Zach. If they manage to stay up this year, the world could be their oyster (if they've got as much money as it appears).

If true, good on the lad
Club might be pissed but the fans and Lennon will be happy. I'd rather go into administration than give up Clough to Brizzle City. Who will end up being relegated anyway with us and then have Clough in the division lower

According to Iles we can't physically afford to go into administration without raising money first.

I'm not picking at you personally, but that's not how it works. If you go into administration, you give everyone up. FOr whatever money you can get. As soon as you can get. You don't get to go into administration and "keep" this or that.

As I say, not getting at you, but this is a bizarre idea that keeps cropping up.

I'll be f*cking depressed if we sell Clough. As little as BWFC-I understands administration, he's spot on when he says it's symbolic. We spent all those years in the Prem. All that time saying we were building infrastructure and an academy and a lasting "project". If this month ends with us selling off the training ground and Clough then f*ck it, why didn't we just give Allardyce the cash he wanted, get in the Champions League and just crash and burn earlier.
