It won't go far if we believe those reports of £2m outstanding tax bill, £2m to Brett Warburton, whatever it was to Nucleus finance, cost of an administrator and a standard £1m/month loss!

So did I. Only repeating what Iles is saying. He says the trouble is there is a further tax bill due in January and wages, and Eddie doesn't want to pay it.Harry Genshaw wrote:I'm an absolute thicko with all this but I thought the sole purpose of flogging these two was to pay the tax bill and thus stave off administration?BWFC_Insane wrote:Iles says,

Couple of days for a firm buyer to come forward. Otherwise admin. But costs club to enter admin so that is why sale of Davies and Clough is going through to pay for potential administration.
It has been written a few times that the club would enter admin if no concrete deal in place before 18th. Perhaps the club are putting out that message merely to force buyers hands? Brinkmanship? Who knows?

Re: The Debt.
if Iles is right in this story from last nights BN - that we have sold the office and hotel to any old tom dick or harry and not the preferred bidder. If we also end up selling euxton to wigan/ preston whoever; as well as offloading any player who someone else shows an interest in; then the current regime can truly hang their heads in shame, possibly only excused if they have an completely unforeseeable, life or death reason for allowing this to happen. All the progress since the move to Middlebrook will basically be reversed. I'm still clinging (fingertips) to the idea that Iles is just speculating and the current activity has a bit more of a plan, rather than just being a harrods new year free for all.

Binkmanship, what planet do you live on? Sheer desperation is what it is.BWFC_Insane wrote:So did I. Only repeating what Iles is saying. Re: The Debt.
Yeah, but its all alright though isn't it, because all the debt is owed to Uncle Eddie, isn't it? So there's not a problem because he'll sort it, won't it? That's what we keep being told isn't it? It's not real debt? La la la la la la la la, debt doesn't exist la la la ........

Re: The Debt.
Well I did say that 11th January was to be Panic Fanny Day. It will, in years to come, build up a core of rituals, including someone with a tin whistle whistling in a small haggis formed in the shape of a mouse, and everybody in the room the mousie-haggis is whistled into to go capering about the room waving their hands in the air and screeching eeeeeeek eeeeeek.BWFC_Insane wrote:http://m.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/1419 ... _48_hours/

Another one taken from another forum (an old article from last year)....
I think a few things will come out in the open once the dust has settled and we've had the 12 points deducted and are in League 1, regarding PG

Re: The Debt.
I think we should have a TW Panic Fanny t-shirt. The previous shirts were rip roaring successes and proceeds could go towards paying the tea lady or summat.
