Included in a Sainsbury's basics post Christmas shop I finally, after about 5years, took my bag, bottles and tubs of shrapnel to the machine. I poured what turned out to be £72 of 1p, 2p & 5p coins for a good 10 minutes.

But not before the bag containing it, 2 bottles and a tube WITH the coins still in, fell off a small shelf & onto the bridge of my right foot.

In case you're wondering, that's bloody heavy & the outcome is bloody sore.

My missus's school has a maximum September intake (ignoring reception) of 22 infants. She has cheated and had up to 30, all of which extras have gone to appeal, and over the years all have won. But this year, 56 applications. What the fxck is going on? She's in the middle of nowhere, the village doesn't have 56 children of all ages between 4-16, never mind 56 infants. The world has gone mad.

We have one of those transgendered at work. As the process took place we were warned not to antagonise s/he/it. So for months we've walked on eggshells. The final transformation makes the 60s version of Frankenstein look camp. She walks as though she has carpet rolls lodged under each armpit, and when she talks this strangulated artificially high but ever so fxcking soft (as in you can't hear it) voice comes out, with an actual content so anodyne that sleep disorder centres would benefit from her speaking.
And just now, as I'm walking to the pub with my dog, my boss's boss just drove by, and in a jest filled moment called out to me "See you Monday, ginge"
This being the cxnt that would oversee my own castration if at any time I might let slip that Venda used to be Vinnie and actually still basically is.

^. A very difficult topic. We used to hire conference facilities out and had an adjudicator called xxxxxx who attended some of them. Some time after a previous visit our works secretary informed me "he" was now "she" and called xxxxxx. Now, fair enough, that's life, but as Site Service manager I had to deal with such peole and walking behind a six feet two lipsticked and be-wigged person with shoulders like Arnold, size elevens feet and a distincly un-ladylike rear without some reaction is very hard. It's very very, very hard indeed and.....well, it just is....

I'd like to take a moment to apologise for misinforming the forum. 3 weeks ago, the Guardian informed me that LGBT was now LGBTQ. This week it's changed to LGBTI apparently. The 'I' is for intersex by all accounts, ie those born hermaphrodite. I'm unsure what has happened to the poor 'Queers'.
