F*ck off.
In the nicest possible sense.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Ok then, who would we fancy to get us out of this mess? Jimmy Phillips? Can we afford to pay anyone else, if we sent Lennon off on gardening leave?
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Re: Lennon out!
Does anyone think Lennon really gives a shit? I think he gave up half a dozen games into the season when he realised the players he'd signed were worse than the ones he inherited and that it was another season of battle.
Probably more interested in getting pissed and chasing women than he is in seriously applying himself to the fight the club faces.

He,s been on Lady garden leave for a while now!

Re: Lennon out!
Very good. Very, very good.
Re: Lennon out!
Of course he gives a shit. It always has to be they don't care, doesn't it? The players don't care, the manager doesn't care. Of course they do, they're just shit.BWFC_Insane wrote:Does anyone think Lennon really gives a shit? Re: Lennon out!
Look at his body language when he first came and now and compare. He used to almos kick every ball on the touch line. Now he barely moves from the bench.Prufrock wrote:Of course he gives a shit. The way he talks, his general demeanour, none of it screams passion for fighting tooth and nail for the club. It all screams that he really doesn't want to be here, to me at least.

Well, your amateur body language assessment has convinced me.
Lack of pashun.

Re: Lennon out!
Is he still doing everything he can, leaving no stone unturned in trying to improve the fine margins? That's what made Sam a great manager for us, maximising set pieces for example. Simon charlton described ours yesterday as 'Sunday league standard'. I suspect he's not doing anything properly because his excuses are all lined up and he can go through the motions. Being a stubborn c*nt and not resigning is not the same as being determined to do do everything you can to get it right.

Re: Lennon out!
I'm not sure I buy the body language argument either. Big Sam can often be seen slumped in his seat, his arms folded. He was yesterday. Mourinho was the same. Mourinho used to look downright miserable on the bench. I don't think it means they lack passion or fight.

Re: Lennon out!
But Sam is not renowned for his passion. Lenny is! Fact is, he could do more. Like most- I was chuffed when we got him but how wrong we bloody were.i genuinely believe we're to good to go down! For that, I blame Lennon. All the off the field issues lay at Garty and Eds feet.
Never get into an argument with an idiot. i'll bring you down to my level and beat you with experience

Exactly this, better worded than anything I said. But this.LeverEnd wrote:Is he still doing everything he can, leaving no stone unturned in trying to improve the fine margins? Re: Lennon out!
I think you'll find that is more like he's long realised the futility of it all. I think he's given up, stopped believing and is depressed with the whole thing, but I don't think he doesn't care.BWFC_Insane wrote:

He probably wants to walk away, but is very aware that his future career is hanging by a thread. I'd be pretty depressed and not be bouncing around in his situation, even if it is enough of his own fault the situation he finds himself in that he gets little sympathy from me.

Re: Lennon out!
I never wanted Lennon. I didn't want Freedman either. Coyle, I admit, hands up, when he arrived I was quite chuffed thinking we were on the verge of legendary times... oh what a disappointment he was, turning legend into dystopia.
If, after Coyle, we had gone down the 'McCarthy route' I think we'd be alright now, still in deep financial shite, but up in the top half of the table or even promoted. (I'm awaiting Enoch's comments about female relatives and dangly bits).
However, even after Freedman, it was still recoverable. Lennon is shit. We really do need to get rid of the tosser. I mean, if we can't afford to pay our tax bill what difference does it make if we're a bit poorer but rid of him?
Answer: all the difference in the world. Sack him, bollox to the financial consequences because we'll be even poorer under him.
