Really can't say I'm surprised.
I think Lennon is now on a mission to get the record for the manager with the most losses without being sacked.

Poor defending....what a surprise. Non leaguers take the lead and we are back at the foot of the hill. We really are pretty bad at the moment. They come again but Moxey intervenes. Silva, Davies, Pratley and....a throw to them. What a really impressive start by the Super Whites. We try again and they clear. We go via Trotter, Silva, a cross and a throw to us. Moxey, we go, they clear and we go again. Throw again us and a list of Whites names before Pratley....Silva...and cleared. Free kick them for a Feeney hand ball. And.....we show a bit of spirit and.....they clear. Dervite loses out, surprise, and we clear....luckily, apparently. We try again and.....Trotter hits a "powder puff" and gets described as "menacing" by mic man who rambles on about Huddersfield for a bit.

Did I just hear Kilbane say that Trotter has energy?

At around the same time as saying "Bolton need to get men beyond Madine", which seems eminently sensibleLittle Green Man wrote:Did I just hear Kilbane say that Trotter has energy?

How many times this season have we heard "A ball in from Feeney hits the first man"?!?

Some jib-jab before we have another dab and they clear. Throw them off Dervite. Bit of "how to do it" from the mic men before we give them a free kick thirty five out. Axford, good for wood and then that comes to naught. Get the fingers out Whites and stop this nonsense. Vela, Silva, he comes in, Moxey, Silva and....Pratley, Trotter and.....we get a corner. Mic man reckons the crowd are getting a bit aggressive as they clear and whack it back to us. That corner wasn't the bogs dollox apparently. Throw them and....mentions of that Constable again....we clear for another throw. And it all goes backwards then another throw tham and.....why are we even letting them have the ball? Constable climbs off his hay wain and has a do. Now us, now them and then Feeney ...frustrates, say the man. Trotter and.....and.....Silva hits the keeper with a chip shop.....sorry shot. Trotter goes, Silva, Davies and....a corner. And.....and....the keeper gives it a couple of slaps away. Feeney......and....it gets punched away. Vela, Feeney and Madine heads.....wide.

Probably quite a lot, because crossing is a very inefficient method of passing and frequently doesn't work out. Like when Moyes's Man U had more than 100 cross in a game and lost.DJBlu wrote:How many times this season have we heard "A ball in from Feeney hits the first man"?!?
Therefore, once wingers get a reputation as wasteful, there's plenty of chance for confirmation bias.
If it helps, I was talking to a Spurs fan last week and apparently they have a sizeable, vocal section of fans who think Christian Eriksen is a liability because his set-pieces are sometimes headed away. Spurs have scored more goals from set-pieces this season than any other PL team, and Feeney has more assists this season than any other Bolton player.

More of this and that before Pratley gets us a free kick and....Davie, Moxey.....Pratley and the keeper collects. If only we could score and make possession mean something. Fans are singing but probably not ours. They come a wassaling again but Holding clears well. Davies and.....they clear. Davies does well, Pratley and Vela go forth. Now Feeney and....it all ends with a throw to them. More bad play by us and Mark Davies chops one. If Claterbug had let that go.....says mic man. We sally forth with the style of a football team, but mic man seems to think they are the ones who might score. Pratley sets us off and.....they defend well. Throw us, Pratley, again and.....Feeney and..Vela..Madine the machine makes it 1-1.....

Re: Can we Marc Bolton down for Solid Gold Eastleigh Action?
How, who knows, why, who cares. We're level again and now we can set about ending the nonsense. Feeney got one over and the machine "smashed" it home....Come on Whites, sort em out...We recover it and now Silva gets chopped after a cracking pass from Trotter and we get the free in a handy position. And......Silva and......and.....and...ohhh, the cross bar denies us and we get a corner. And.....MOXEEEEEE.2-1....
