The Vine doesn't show an apparently earlier one-two Pratley played with Mark Davies. That might just be the nicest team goal we've scored since That Goal Against Blackpool.
that's a very nice goal indeed!!!! :oyea:
There's more of it here (UK only): http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35358003

Looks like Vela lays it off to Mavies just before the start, which would make it at least a seven-pass move.

Why's he not throwing Woollery on the wing?

Feeney is getting no joy at all.

Get some pace on the wing and let the lad run in behind.

P.S. Anyone else looking at the highlights thinking we are playing a team of Thunderbirds.

I dare say because Feeney's more diligent at tracking back, and Wellington not tracking back led to Eastleigh's first goal.

I'm all for giving kids minutes, but I wouldn't do it now, considering how utterly shit we are at defending leads.

What level? Ours or Eastleigh's? Or are we just assuming they're about the same?
The level where the players are aged over 11! :D

Twenty mins left and the vistors are still sounding up for it. Pratley, Silva, Moxey......Davies, Pratley, Moxey....apparently a slowed-down scenario. Silva, well cleared by them and mic man has a mither then, has another mither and...crowd sing joyfully (well) free kick and they try to sall. Ameobi spoils it, Silva fires on in, Pratley, Feeney and.....Parkinson heads clear. We come again and.....they clear and set that Copper chap away. Davies intervenes and takes control. Dervite did well. Now a free them mid-way as mic man tries to spoil it by talking about them scoring. They have a sub before Silva gets us a throw. And.....and....Vela, Pratley, Moxey....and Holding and Dervite get into the action. Time ticking away and they have a free forty out and.....cleared but only to them and....Ameobi gets amongst it. Mic man rattles on before having a moan about nobody forwards for us.

They have a brief flurry and Trotter does well to clear as they make a second sub. They sally, Pratly steps in, they challenge well, and again giving us a throw. Ten to go now and....Moxey goes, Reid? clears for a corner...Feeney and....and.....keeper punches, Moxey gathers....Pratley does well and a throw occurs. Trotter, Davies, Feeney....a deflection and the keeper grabs. Constable goes, they get a throw before Moxey clears and feeds Silve. Feeney loses out and back come the visitors. They do a bit of a Barcelona in their half but to no real avail. Mic man tolls a few resukts out before Silva goes and...can't finish. Now then, what's happening and....their keeper grabs and wallops. Some more mither about Bury then....Dervite, Moxey, Silva does well, Ameoba lashes one just wide.

Oh that it comes to this. Holding the ball in the corner at home to a non-league side - and we still can't even keep it there.

They make a last sub, we reply by taking Silva off for Woolery. World class chess this, Bobby Fischer v that Russain chap......we go, they recover and sally but we grab it. They come again and....Vela heads clear, then Dervite heads clear. Time ticks down as Woolery gets a good cross in after a wuick dash. . Throw them but Ameobi intervenes. Big praise for a couple of the visitors by the mic men before Laffayette gives us a (lucky) free kick? Come on Whites, keep going....Are Eastleigh good or us bad as three mins announced extra. Corner us now and....and.....Feeney and....Ameobi comes short and....the ball goes out for a throw them. Mic man rambles about last minute equaliser as if he really wishes they'd get one. Our Hubcap chap grabs and clears....Moxey....a free kick for a challenge on Feeney and a yellow for Harding. And......that'll do, I think as Wooler takes the ball into the corner. I thank you. 3-2 the Whites.... :oyea: :oyea:

686 from Eastleigh. More than they usually get at home.
