Where Are They Now? Kevin Nolan
As of today, player-manager of Leyton Orient on a 2.5yr contract, and thus not coming to Bolton in any capacity no matter which consortium wins.

Indeed. As has just been pointed out, he's scored as many Premier League hat-tricks as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale combined.

Very best of luck to him. He never made noises about leaving Bolton and was always a total trier.

Yeah, good luck Nobby.
Wonder what his formation and tactics will be.

Good luck to him. He was managing/coaching a pub team when he was with us iirc.
Watch him be brilliant and we'll have missed another opportunity

Good luck to the lad. H e lost his way towards the end here, he needed the move, but I don't believe he ever gave less than 100% for us. That goals tally from midfield speaks volumes.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Not the prettiest to watch but a stalwart nonetheless. Why would he ahve wanted to come back to this shambles anyway?

Completely. At the time he moved on he needed that fresh challenge & he took it well.Lord Kangana wrote:Good luck to the lad. H e lost his way towards the end here, he needed the move, but I don't believe he ever gave less than 100% for us. That goals tally from midfield speaks volumes.
He may have a few false starts in management but he will be a success. Can't wish him enough good fortune.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He couldn't wait to get out of Bolton and turned his back on us just when we needed him the most. Fck him.

He was past his best (for us) and needed the change. But he hardly turned his back on us rather than was sold too cheaply. Lot of time for Nolan. Captained every club he's been at hasn't he? Says something about him.

^^ I also remember him saying something to the effect that he knew little about the transfer till it happened?
