Stop being so cynical. You should be celebrating us 'shitting them' 2-0.

Have to hear what the match-goers have to say, but the main point of controversy seems to be the ref's poor first-half display and the amount of free kicks given against us. He left the field to a chorus of boos which won't enamour us to him, but Lennon seemed less than amused at one point according to mic man. All set to continue where we left off.

Cynical, moi? :)
I did make a prediction, yeah. I'm saying no more about it though cos nailed on I'll jinx it.

The good news is that Blackburn equalised at Charlton before half time. Which is nice.

"Anthony Axford, good for wood", sings the voice as we return to the Macron. Whistle blows and.....away.
They sally enthusiastically at us but we get a goal kick. Mic men had a predictive chat about our defence as Silva gives away, wins? a free kick. And...Davies tries to set Pratley forth but it goes a bit to far. Now we go again and Feeney hits one then Trotter and only just wide. The goal machine tries to lob their keeper and now Holding gallops forth and.....he really makes the keeper work after a cracking right foot effort. What a lad Holding is turning out to be.

They clear, Dervite sends it back and then ....afree kick, what a surprise. Now the MK's visit and Holding has to give away a corner which isn't headed well when a real chance was on....apparently. Amos leathers, Silva gathers then we go and.....ohhhhh Martin has to save again after a smart approach. Mic man raving about our play. Play changes ends and they have another corner and.....Holding heads clear. They send it forth and get yet another corner. And......and....it comes in twice and then another corner. A lot of ping and pong before.....they get it back to their keeper. Pratley getting the good words again.

Back they come again and out it goes from us. Now a throw them near our box and.....Dervite leads with an arm, claims mic man. Bit of pressure from them at the moment...and now....they come again and Amos needed. MK get a free kick. Now we go and their keeper clears hastily. We set off again and Silva gets badly decked as the Don gets a yellow card.
Silva has a try at the rolling over and over record but then climbs back to his feet. Now he's hobbling about which means he might be about to score and......Moxey lashes a screamer just wide. Ref not letting Silva back on and the fans not amused. Now.....them....them...themm...we grab it and get a throw as they make a double sub.

2-2 now.
I'm hoping that Dirtburn can do us a favour though..if the stars line up and we get off bottom tonight it maybe could be the psychological shot in the arm we need.

Maybe. Just maybe.

Madine lashes a ninety degree shot that becomes a pass at right angles to Feeney and....we get a corner. And....and....cleared and....Mark Davies gets a card for deliberate handball. Ref apparently missed a foul on Feeney. Now Pratley is grabbed and we get another free. Is the ref making up? Anyway, Dervite, cleared, then Davies sets Silva off but the ball slips out of play. We need another goal now becaose if they score it will put us under pressure. Pratley having a real good game from the sound of it. Holding charges but they clear. Madine makes an unnecesary flick claims mic man, and suggests maybe he should be saved for next game. Meanwhile, Feeney does well and gets a corner. And....Pratley and...Vela and Trotter and......he lashes a daisy-cutter at the keeper. Amos has to save a clever chip from them and they get a corner. Holding heads clear, Feeney does really well, Madine doesn't do quite so well. Fans sing.....

Silva goes solo, Silva again and.....for reasons unknown we now get a free kick? Now then, Pratley wins another free kick and.......and....Feeney and....cleared, Silva goes backwards for safety. He gets the good words. We go, and......a high challenge on Mark Davies gets a yellow. Subs warm up ......

Free us and.....they clear, Trotter, Silva and great skills from the lad says our man. We go again and Silva is the man of the moment. Trotter does well, Davies, Trotter, Holding, Pratley, Feeney, ........and Madine heads one over. Hello mudda, hello fadda......

I hear ya, Hoss, but I'm happy – at the mo we're catching up two points on Charlton (who'd be one ahead of us as it stands), three on Brizzle City (four ahead), two on Rotherham (five ahead) and obviously three on McDons (six ahead). If - if, if - it stays as-is it'd be our best weekend in a good while.

Is Pratley getting a yellow? Moxey, Feeney, and.....Madine heads another over. "It's been a joy to be here today" says a happy mic man and that's so good to hear. COME ON YOU WHITES.......And now, Moxey throw, Silva, Pratley, Feeney, and.....Feeney wins a grafting corner. Looks like Madine might be coming off and Ameobi on. MK, make thier last sub. Feeney corner cleared.....ohhhhhhh, ball got to Trotter who lashed one over after a good ball from Davies.

Dervite, Holding, and a throw to them. We win it again and Pratley, then Silva come, Silva loses it, but Ameobi gets us a free kick. maybe ten to go and.......they clear and come forth. After the week the players and staff have had, this is a real creditable perfotmance. Davies goes.....Ameobi tries one and the keeper saves for a corner.....and...Ameobi hits the bar? on the way over. Now they attack, Silva clears and gets the big plaudits. Vela gets nutmegs, Dervite clears, Ameobi wins the ball and we get a free for a challenge on Pratley. Five to go as Spearing looks to replace.....Silva. A great applause for the you Wellington Silva.... :oyea:
