Not sure other than it's more hyperbole that it helps one iota. If the deal that ED rejected meant that I had certainty until the end of the season, but was then extremely tenuous, I might still be worried, although at least I'd know I was getting paid next month, but I'd only end up having to look for new work over the closed season. So yeah it would help. But given that we don't know past your constant speculating whether the deal would do that - we're still on "Bolton News understands" - not sure it helps at all. What if the proposal was "here's money down, but I want to reduce the headcount by 20% (not at all an uncommon position) - then I'm still fairly uncertain as an individual.

20-25% is the usual run of the mill, stock norm, which morphs its self to around 15% after the fcuk ups become problematic

Then again we maybe talking large over staffing here which would not surprise me in the least, the assistants assistant type.
