We don't get the day off at work, but I've taken a half day because my mates having a BBQ.
Best of both worlds, don't have to watch any of the crap but still get to eat afterwards

Re: Avoiding the Royal Wedding
Well, I'm off from Good Friday until the Sunday before the 'big day', for which I'll be returning to work so as to avoid the bloody thing and will spend the extra day off later in the year, when the Open's on, something like that.
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Avoiding the Royal Wedding
Thursday to gay Paris. Friday spent drinking and bliss. Sunday nice May Day parade, presumably, being in France, involving tear gas. Home Tuesday. Long weekend, nice weather would be ace.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

I will be working.
And seeing as I'm in charge, radio silence will be maintained.
Working in a windowless dungeon has its upsides now and then.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Got a date with a crate of beer and a DVD fest that day, while the other half's off at her Parent's down south for a celebration.
Anyone know if Bolton's still being as republican as it was a few weeks ago? Only 4 (I think) applications for street parties.

Re: Avoiding the Royal Wedding
I shall be in Central London amongst the crowds.
I've got a gig as a runner for a professional photographer in case his GPS fails. It involves getting an SD card from his position back to their offices in Kings Cross by the quickest means. In this case that would be me, in my vest and shorts. Look out for me overtaking the Royal Carriage looking like a late finisher for the marathon.
Oh, and £50 plus expenses for 3 hours work. Get in!

I have barely given it any thought, but it think it boils down as follows, for me:
Nice weather = won't watch
Shit weather = might do

Avoided the last wedding by going to Whitby for the day. Methinks will repeat.
