Agree with that, I don't think he is shit (the goal against Arsenal at the start of last season was a good goal). Perhaps not given a proper chance at Liverpool, due to Torres then Suarez. Wouldn't hurt to give him a go.officer_dibble wrote:anyone who says he is shite wants their head seeing too!
he's an adequate premier league forward, in a team with service he'll get around 10 goals.....sure he'll miss plenty as well but thats cos he aint torres, or even Danny Sturridge. He's be the best forward at our club by a mile IMO, apart from maybe a fully firing Klasnic, though we will never see that.

I know it is only in the Daily Star but:

CHELSEA'S NEW LUKA MODRIC RAID
CHELSEA boss Andre Villas-Boas is poised to test Spurs’ resolve to keep Luka Modric by offering them £27million AND Daniel Sturridge.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will be reluctant to flog the Croatian playmaker, 25, because he fears he may then lose Gareth Bale too.
The Stamford Bridge side has already made a £22m bid for Modric but will up the cash offer and throw in striker Sturridge, 21, as part of a new deal – worth an eye-watering £37m – once they seal the capture of Anderlecht wonderkid Romelu Lukaku.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Not going to happen, Sturridge will be needed at Chelsea in a years time when Anelka and Drogba stop being useful

I've been winding up a trotters fan mate of mine since OC came to bolton that Eagles follows him around, and it's only a matter of time before he joins him.

Ahh, ok. You should tell your mate we've had ex-ManUre players in the past playing for us.3agl3s wrote:No, I think he's quality. Just my mate doesn't like him cos he's ex-United, and the hair.TKIZ! wrote: What a card you are.

Anyway, some cricket score this thread now Tzatziki. 196 for 1.
Just waiting til 200 and then a collapse in the order.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

QUOTE page 123: TKIZ, this thread is at 122 (mostly pointless) pages. In light of an actual transfer happening in the next day or so, shouldn't you start another (guaranteed to be much more successful) thread lest the bad luck from this one haunts us still?
Why didn't you listen to me? 70+ pointless pages without a signing because you wouldn't clean the slate and start again! You're killing us TKIZ!

Enough's enough. Jump ship to my "much more successful TRANSFER thread, where big stars will happily sign with monotonous regularity.

So you're saying the lack of signings is due to the amount of pages this thread is?mullayo wrote:QUOTE page 123: TKIZ, this thread is at 122 (mostly pointless) pages. I know we seem desperate right now but can't get overly excited about the possibility of landing Ngog. He always looked good when playing European competition but in the PL he always looked crap to me.
