No kidding. It's a flawed and complex system, but it's a damn good one overall. I much prefer it to Parliment. However I am obviously biased.

Congrats, AT - once he heard about your vote apparently Rumsfeld resigned.

The Anti-Christ (george allen) conceeded! Happy Days.

To celebrate I will be getting well and truly leathered on Veteran's Day. (Well November 10th, the day I have off from work)

Which reminds me, thanks to all of those who do what you do, and all of those who did what you had to to protect the England and the World. :pissed:

Bush and the Republicans are on so much of a down that it now looks all set for Ms Clinton to be elected the first woman President in 2008.

He can't. Only people born in the US are eligible (shitty law if you ask me).

Isn't it in their constitution? Doubt even Arnie could change that...

Not sure - do you mean the thread with the fish puns in it? :D

I'm out of my depth talking about any law, never mind American law to be honest, but I still can't see them changing the "born on US soil" thing for Arnie.

I don't think he has.

Or, to be more accurate seeing as he has not launched any such campaign himself, the current campaign that does exist for this amendment is unlikely suddenly to gather enough pace to take effect before the next election.

Yes, imagine how it would have been if the Britons had said no Romans, Angles, Saxons, Danes or Normans can be in charge. We might have got invaded.
