I've got a job interview tomorrow, 3.30pm, looks like I'm the last one on. Thing is, I'm really not that bothered if I get it or not. I wouldn't mind the job, it could be interesting and I'd get a small pay rise, but I wouldn't be dancing round the house if i got it.

Just had a call to say that Our Kid (younger one) has been rushed in with a suspected acute appendicitis and is currently dosed up to the eyeballs on morphine. Just had to call Mum to let her know. She's now panicking like only a mother can do.

My drive home from work takes me through Top of the Brow estate and every October I have a chuckle at a house on the estate that puts their Xmas decorations up. They've surpassed themselves this year. They're up already . At the moment its all the tinsel and santa posters in the windows. Around about Halloween/Bonfire night they turn all the flashing lights on.

Their kids must be hyper by Xmas eve
