Anyway, it seems that for whatever reason more than 50% of us want out, so I'm sure that's the way we'll vote.
You think so? I'm leaning a little towards the out camp but I can't see them winning. It'll be like the last election. The polls will be close right up to voting day but come the day, people will stick with what they know

TBH - I'm a little surprised how close the pollsters have it at the moment - I think there's a lot more for out than are maybe declaring their hand fully. As for the Beeb coverage, I had it down as fairly balanced so far - they've had Big Boris on plenty but also covered the "business leaders" and "generals" etc. talking about remaining etc,

If we do leave, we'll be able to have some great fun with Governments' not being able to blame "Europe" for their own incompetence (any colour of Government)

I disagree about the beeb but the thing that shocked me today was a poll on a financial website... (financial!!) that was 65% in favour of leaving.

I guess would depend on which sort of financial website - if it was investment related, then a bit of market turmoil probably a good thing for making some personal gain if your cash invested in the right places...might make a bit of a killing. :-)

Bit cynical :D There's going to be 4 months of turmoil no matter what, surely.

It all just seems like madness to me. Gonna have to turn the internet off and live in a cave for a bit.

Get in that armchair, pull up the buffy (I refuse to call it a pouffe) and avoid news channels for a bit. Might be cynical, but probably ain't far off the mark. I suspect the turmoil were we to leave would be far greater - even if it was fairly short term - certainly long enough for some bright fund managers to earn a bob or two.

The below is courtesy of the Spectator :

"Stuart Rose will have to be added to the long list of British businessmen who have struggled to make the transition to politics. Rose, the Chairman of Britain in Europe, didn’t get off to the best of starts in this campaign when he told The Times that ‘“Nothing is going to happen if we come out of Europe in the first five years, probably. There will be absolutely no change’ a quote that was seized upon by the Out campaign who said it disproved all the dire warnings about the immediate consequences of leaving. But today he has had made an even bigger gaffe.

Appearing before the Treasury Select Committee, Rose was asked by the Labour MP Wes Streeting ‘‘if free movement were to end following Brexit, is it not reasonable to suppose that we could see increases in wages for low-skilled workers in the UK? To which Rose replied, ‘If you’re short of labour, the price of labour would go up. So Yes. But that’s not necessarily a good thing.’

Just wondering whether Frankie Holland telling Britain that should the UK chose to exit "there would be consequences" is helpful. Maybe it's a double bluff as deep down he wants us out, but in my experience anyone telling the Brits what to do, or not to do has the inverse effect.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

What is he going to do exactly?
Any airlines or ferry companies can face massive fines for bringing in illegal migrants, so people ain't just going to hop on planes or ships to the UK, they would be checked at the port (Calais) of departure.
So is Mr Frog going to put them on ships and send them over and have a stand off mid channel with the Royal Navy?
Is he prepared to possibly start a war over migrants?
No
Myth over Calais moving to the UK debunked, I smell the pork fingered hand of Cameron and his rabid Europhiles behind that one.

Meanwhile the Britain Stronger in Europe campaign is to launch an initiative to encourage young people to persuade their grandparents to vote to stay in the EU.

The education minister, Sam Gyimah, told the Times: “The way for this campaign to really come alive is to have grandparents talking to their children and grandchildren about the future of this country.”

Polls used by the Times suggested almost seven in 10 pensioners wanted to leave the EU, while young people were more likely to be pro-European, but less likely to cast a vote.
Not getting desperate or nothing the Europhiles are they?

The notion of what remaining in entails is more than frightening enough thank you.
Migrants and a climbing bill to pay for them, Merkel handing out travel visas to terrorist Turkey alongside eventual club membership, TTIP, oh the list goes on.

Well past caring what the Scots Nats want TBH.
A group so good, had they voted to leave, they'd now be bankrupt!
Dig a mile wide channel, fit out our bank with razor wire, pull out of the EU and let Merkel pile quota's of migrants in there on top of a dodgy Euro, job sorted
