It will be lovely if Forest play badly and win by the odd goal. Don't want them finding too much form, just enough to beat the Tykes.

PS
Watching Derby-Cardiff at the mo, and Madine is looking particularly piss-poor.
(Edit) ...and has just missed a sitter my dog could have put away. In fact my aunt, aged 86, could have stuck her leg out and scored...

There's a song called "I wish I'd stayed at Bolton". It has 89 verses so far.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 9:00 pmPS

As shite as we are, there's a reason Barnsley are down there too, and it isn't because they're great.
Saturday is gigantic.

Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition
Well, we've been handed a solid lifeline. Assuming ( dangerous word that) Barnsley get nothing more and the status quo as it is right now, two points from draws or three from one win will see us home. Better all round if we get a win Saturday of course, but it's still all a scramble for the tape. As it's been so many times, it's in our own hands. I'm hoping Parky has a whisper to Ben about commanding his box a bit better. He's made some terrific saves, but he might not have needed to do that if he was a bit more positive. My Radio Tango views are on a par with the Peter Brough school of Ventriloquy but I still hear all that goes on via the match commentary, highlights and media reports. We were so solid at the back at one time.

I do believe in miracles. Survival is still in our hands. Will we drop the catch or hold unto it? Stay tuned.

Burton's home record this season is the second worst in the league (only Sunderland are worse). Trouble is, we have the worst away record.

Well, even my longform predictions (7 out of 8 right beforehand for us, Barnsley, Birmingham and Reading) didn't see that coming. I expected us below the pips by now.

So that's good. But now it's our turn. We mustn't rely solely on Barnsley being shit, and we cannot rely solely on Burton being shit, because we play them next. Do or drop. But it's still looking very possible that this will have a happy ending. COYWM.

Reasonable chance that will do. Burton however, will murder us.
