I think it's clear Declan John is no right winger.

Superb cross from Sadlier, who I’d genuinely forgotten was playing during the first half, and Bod bonces just wide. Much better. More.

Much better from Beck. Let’s get a goal soon, Bolton.

I would sub him for Izzy.
And pass on a message for our central midfielders to demand the ball.

We’re starting to look like the team from a division above. We can get two back here for sure.

Zero defence there then. All watching the ball. Piss poor this.

Promoting Hutchinson past Dixon must be on the agenda? I'd be surprised if he was much worse.
Worse or not, we're not going to learn anything by persisting with a player that's making mistakes every time he plays. At least with Hutchinson we'd have the potential to find out something new. Best case scenario we find out he's as good as we'd all hope, worst case scenario he makes Dixon look better and eases some of the pressure on Dixon.

Lovely ball by Morley to find Beck. Beck's looking a little rushed on his final ball. Seemingly better this second half.

Would seem our apathy regarding any sort of north west rivalry against Tranmere is the same approach we take on the pitch. Way too many games against Tranmere have been piss poor lately.

Knocked out by them in 2004, 2020 and looking like succumbing today.

Should've been 3-0 after that chance for Tranmere.

Their RCB No26 Simeu played well at Carlisle last season and looks decent for this lot tonight. He’s a Southampton loanee I suggested may be of interest to us. Didn’t realise the poor lad had washed up in Birkenhead

I can only assume that when we play 11v11 practice games all these lads aren’t on the same side.

Defensively, we are all over the bloody place. Need a CDM on to allow the CMs forward to create. Morley is nowhere near aggressive, nor spacially aware, nor dominant enough to hold. Sads, Morley, Sheehan too similar.

Both Morley and Sheehan have to look at their work rate off the ball. I think for either to play at league one level they need to look at themselves in the mirror and look at the work MJ and GT do and ask why they aren’t doing it.

Yeah, really disappointed in Morley tonight.

Cleared off the Tranmere line, COYW
