Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Utter garbage with huge slice of luck! I’d make the Swiss favourites next weekend.
We will probably win it now. It’s not unheard of for these sorts of things to kickstart a team.

This could get abandoned for a waterlogged pitch if Ronaldo blubs any harder.

Really enjoyed last night's game, it was a really good high tempo match.

I'm guessing the second of the two - they were both pretty decent, tbf, vs watching us fanny about with it.

Aye both were a good watch, thought the last on edged it for the neutral though.
Yeah, grass growing and paint drying springs to mind watching England.

Today, in theory anyway, should be possibly the best two games of the tournament.

Nagelsmann makes four subs before the hour. No sitting on hands there.

As entertainment, top class. It had everything, skill, critical goals and drama 17? yellow cards and a red? . Can't see Spain not winning it, but hope lives on...I'm pretty good at hope.. :oyea:

Can’t make my mind up about Spain. Very organised but there’s not loads of goals in them and Morata managed to get himself suspended for the semi when he wasn’t even on the pitch. Mind, France and Portugal also underwhelming. Wide open tournament.

There's not a lot of goals in anyone, tbf. They look the strongest but every game feels close.

Had some painting and decorating done this week, so I had a bit of time to watch paint drying. The paint may have been mixed in France or Portugal? I can't play chess either. Wish I could. :(

I’ve enjoyed the Turkey games tbh, looking forward to theirs!

No shots on target for England vs Swiss after 67 mins. Come on England.

Carrying Kane whose doing nothing movement wise

Kane is one of the laziest players I’ve ever watched. Should be completely fresh because he’s spent 90 minutes trying his best not to move.

It's like he's spectating the match.

Don't mind a striker that doesn't sprint everywhere but some effort is warranted when there's a chance on.

Foden has been such a letdown for England.

Was never going to be easy, Switzerland are no mugs. Could have gone either way, still can. We ain't the kings any more, but give credit for fighting. Harry Kane is a striker playing mid-field / defender. In truth, our system isn't geared for him any more. What service did he get tonight? Every team we play shuts shop on us, all except us who like open spaces at the back. Que Sera, as ever.. ae:) ae:)
