He’s got Evatts number Michael Duff for sure. What a shame we weren’t brave enough to swap the two in the summer.
No issue with Dion being sold, as long as we replace him with a big feck off 6ft 3" / 6ft 4" physical striker.
Yeah...someone who can make the ball stick and knows how to head a football.

Utterly pointless without a new manager I’m afraid.

Perhaps Dion's been sold to pay off Evatt & his Blackpool donkey's.

We’d crawl over broken glass for Michael Duff. Probably too straightforward for Sharon.

It’s more that he’s off to Huddersfield that’s the issue. It’s effectively giving up on anything bar a fluke to the play offs. Which is what we all know to be true, but if your looking for sticks to beat Evatt with…
Knowing our luck as well, even if we did manage to get into the playoffs, he'd likely come back to haunt us. Just imagine, Evatt finally winning consistently enough to get our season on the right track, only for our star striker to cripple our chances.

All managers lose games. The best we’ve had here did. Nobody is saying a manager should lose none.

I do wonder if all of these unsubstantiated rumours are the club or an agent trying to start an auction for DC. At the quoted figure of £750k he's well worth a punt for Derby, PNE or other championship club.

£750k when we’ve bought that lad from Peterborough who isn’t an international seems cheap

Pretty confident that if Joel Randall qualified for NI he’d be a starter for them.

No Dion in tonight's squad. Anything transfer wise to read into that do you think?
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

Yes. Iles seemingly expecting him to go. Although the club were staying schtum before the game, something has to be said in the postmatch press conference.

from Jack Dearden:
Ian Evatt on Dion Charles “ We’ve had an offer from Huddersfield which we deemed acceptable, what we always try to do here as a collective, myself and the board is try to do right by the club financially “

“The one thing we have always tried to do here as a collective, myself and the board – and it’s always a subjective industry – but we have tried to do right by the club, financially. We had an offer for Dion and that’s as much as I can say at the moment.

“We have all had input into it. And that is what we do at this football club, we stick together, and there are a lot of decision makers in there, and Dion Charles is one of them too, we mustn’t forget that.

“We came together and decided it as an acceptable offer. We 100% need to sign a replacement and as I have said all along there will be ins and outs in this transfer window and I want to freshen the squad up. We will continue to look to do that.”

Absolutely textbook response from the dickhead. He’s been sold to a team who at the start of the season were a rival, cos you’re a shit football manager and an even bigger c*nt. fecking clown. And Sharon this is on your watch you daft cow.

Not surprised but it moved quickly. More leaks than a Welsh allotment!

Interesting to see who we get in as a replacement.
