It's where I'm at. For the first time in my life yesterday I joined in the shouting for the manager's head. More to get the message to the board to act, rather than pile on Evatt, a bloke who, if he'd left after, say the Huddersfield home game, I'd have wished him all the best and thanked him for those good times.

All that goodwill is fast disappearing now as he clings onto his job and his sense of reality.

It's not actually as bad as I thought it was, however its bad enough and another stick to beat him with. This will create an issue for Ms Brittan though because this will grow legs very quickly overnight and its not a good look telling your own fans to fcuk off on camera. It was also only a few weeks ago that she came out with a statement addressing issues of abusive language and behaviour etc. towards Evatt - I can't see how she can ignore this however strong there relationship is.

It also only sounded like boos, not anybody calling him anything personal - absolutely no need for his reaction

It will use the phrase "fell below the standards we expect". There will be a reference to the club being an integral part of the local community before ending on a "let's all pull together" note.

I doubt it will get a statement. It’s been clear for a while he has complete contempt for the fans. In fairness it’s been clear to the fans for a while he’s a wrong un.

So I don’t think there is much to see here. He acted unprofessionally but I mean he got away with walking onto the file and head butting a young opposition player. He’s not going to be raked over the coals for this. Sharon likely holds fans in similar contempt.

Allardyce had the odd spat but generally ignored fans and what they said. Because he was confident in his own abilities.

I don’t think there is much to this either but this isn’t about football anymore. Evatt isn’t wanted in the same way Megson wasn’t. I was not a Megson outer but knew he had to go. Evatt is beyond that point now. He’s beyond the rubicon and there won’t be a conciliation regardless of results.
