Re: The Politics Thread
All the Brexit negotiators were Brexiteers. They delivered a 'harder Brexit' than the promises that turned out to be suggestions on the day after the vote. Dunno what you're moaning about, you got a more Brexity Brexit than you voted for. You should be dancing with joy Hobes.

And you seriously think Frost and his team had complete freedom to negotiate?Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Jun 17, 2025 7:54 pmThe agreement was negotiated by David Frost, no? Oh and doesn't 'up her own with self importance' Rachel from accounts look even stupider than she is by refusing to apologise for calling out those wanting an inquiry as, 'jumping on a far right bandwagon', and that child, lucy Powell, should be sent back to primary school.
Like it or not all you head in the sand socialists, Reform are looking the only option right now.
There you go, the worst two enemies of thd UK over the centuries.
We could, if we had the right government, give these two a whole lot of grief.
The Germans and others are far more pragmatic.
Coming up 10 years next year and given you lot are suggesting you have half a brain, maybe one of the millions could tell us what it looks like, rather than what it isn't? No? Thought not....

Just let us know exactly where his hands were tied, instead of vague notional speculation. Ok, so Maybot simply went along with negation and didn't stick her nose in along with her remaniac advisors whilst creeping to European leaders?Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 12:42 pmJust let us know exactly where his hands were tied, instead of vague notional speculation. Churchill wannabe Johnson, aided by his little green , EU loving Carrie whispering in his ear went along unfazed and didn't poke his nose in?
The Irish squealing away about borders helped didn't it?
And, finally that wannabe influencer and her legal challenges had no bearing.
Yeah, only the dumb don't recognise these interference.

Re: The Politics Thread
^^What specifics were negotiable in a deal that we didn’t get? Frost described it as a great deal.
He and Johnson negotiated the deal as Brexiteers and indeed the Gibraltar border arrangements were a Frost and Johnson plan that couldn’t be implemented as they were too useless to get it over the line.
But you need to give specifics as to what could have been negotiated that wasn’t in the deal.

Re: The Politics Thread
It's almost like the word negotiation implies there's more than one party and some things you agree on, others you don't...
Dunno, I'll have to ask the people with half a brain...
