Dive video
Yes, I know every team has its culprits, but a friend showed me this video showcasing how CRonaldo's dive technique has been refined to the extreme were he starts complaining to the ref even before falling to the ground. Legend!

....or winker.
btw VI, I laughed my head off at Ronaldinho's free kick last night. Absolute genius. And it was heart warming to see Eidur enjoying himself, too. Shame about the shot off the post, though.
Is Deco having a lung transplant this morning? He must have bust at least one.

Oh yeah, that freekick was absolute cheeky class!
And that play from Eidur was pure class, pity about the shot to the post! Goal of the month otherwise... He got his name cheered for the first time in Camp Nou since he arrived, btw.

Many many moons ago - aged about 12 (that IS a very long time ago) I was playing for a team from Horwich against a team from that centre of refinement ... Aspull. (fao Zulu ... Steve Grimes was playing for them).
I was tackled & for some reason decided to dive. As the lad came into me I stiffened & went across his outstretched leg. I hit the ground & rolled a couple of times, then held me shin.
One team-mate said to me " ... what the fck was that ?", another said " ... get up yer fckg puff", a third " ... if you ever do that again I'LL fckg kick you myself !!".
Now ... I honestly don't think I ever dived again.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Bloody hell! I'm still in touch with his brother Mick. (Good old Friends Reunited!) He was one my best mates at school. Now a fireman in Hampshire, and the years have been kind to him. A site kinder than they've been to me!bobo the clown wrote:(fao Zulu ... Steve Grimes was playing for them).
